中より見回られ候間、取り見咎めにおいてはその断り相立て申すまじく候。この旨召し使いの下男下女にも心得違いこれ無きよう篤と申し付け置かるべく候事
一、鳥場立木の義はこれまで定め通りの員数にて取り相仕舞い候。大造の鳥揚げ取り致すまじく候。若し不足候わば、御用に相成らぬ難木を立て添え申さるべく候事

[regarding mountain patrols] will be conducted by those from within [the shrine community], so if violations are discovered, no excuses will be accepted. This matter should be thoroughly explained to employed male and female servants so that there will be no misunderstandings.
1. Regarding trees at bird hunting grounds, they shall be taken only in the numbers established as before. Large-scale bird catching shall not be undertaken. If there is a shortage, trees unsuitable for official use may be planted additionally.
The above matters must be strictly observed. Therefore, this notice is issued.
Sixth month of the year of the Rooster, Shrine Community
28th day, Kinoe-inu, cloudy. Due to Lord Nijo Safu's descent this autumn for the shogunal appointment ceremony, for the sake of safety and well-being during his journey, the monk Keikan was sent as a proxy to pray at the Upper and Lower Kamo Shrines. At our house, he wore purified garments and visited the shrine. The prayer arrangements had previously been entrusted to our regular associates Okamoto Dewanokami Yasutora and Kamotaruki [someone], and both families offered sacred hemp and rice offerings, etc. ○ Evening shrine performance as usual.
○ A person named Naya Gozaemon from Shirakawa village, through the intermediary Hitoire Fushimiya Zenkichi, has been granted associate status by request. Additionally, he has been commissioned for construction work on the pagoda of Daisho-ji temple. The dimensions of said pagoda are to follow those of Teigen-in temple, contracted for 1,700 monme of silver.
29th day, Kinoto-i, heavy rain. It was the rotation for the Nagoshi purification ceremony. I arranged for Teiseikai to substitute. ○ Regarding Mie's belongings, following direct negotiations when Hoshino Muneyuki visited on the 20th of this month, today from early morning despite the rain, [items] were sent to Tamayas at Fushimi Inari. Specifically, two chests of drawers, two long storage chests, paulownia [boxes], with retainer Kahei and servant Kameshiro accompanying, plus eight porters. Wood merchant Jubei had been previously arranged and arrived around the hour of the Tiger this dawn. Beginning with chicken offerings, departure was at the proper hour of the Rabbit.
