廿三日戊辰晴社中御倹約掛り中於年番部屋参會諸
事取調有之土笠師■物師等渡し米御倹約年限
中二分減し御渡之義評決職中へ被付尚又樽代
納滞之分御取立之義及催促其余十月鬮倹約
減方出来取調勘定等有之也○御泥池村三十郎義
紀州御用途金拝借有之處此度村役人へ差押到来
御取立二相成候段社中へ届出ニ付予ヘ村役人被差向
承知候處先達而予へ社中より被相渡候三十郎居宅迄
経千一昨年致買得置候夏目二ヶ所ミクス壱ヶ所等之
田地書入有之ニ付尚又此度予より致出銀呉候様と
之願也依之予社中へ罷出申願候ハ右借用銀之義
は三十郎一分之拝借銀ニ而年貢米に拘り候義ニ而無之
候間村方より相弁候哉亦ハ右田地家等之元銀経水
村方より致退銀弐両様之内被 仰付被下候様申立候処
寺今日寄會日二而其趣尤之由評決有之村役人江
被申渡然ル處村方出銀之義近年凶作ニ付必至難
渋之趣段々相歎候ニ付其段地持予へ向可相歎約旨内々
被申聞候由ヲ以亦々市へ歎出候得共右田地一件ニ
付而ハ先比已来追々年貢米惑等も致し遣候上也

この他に召し使いとして三宅・御倉・小舎人等である。
二十日乙丑晴れ。神楽講勘定が例の如く社中において行われ、掛かりが参集した。数顕・予・必顕等三人である。
二十三日戊辰晴れ。社中御倹約掛りが年番部屋中において参会し、諸事取り調べが行われた。土笠師・物師等への渡し米について、御倹約年限中は二分減らして御渡しする義が評決され、職中へ付けられた。なお又樽代納滞の分の御取り立ての義について催促に及び、その余十月鬮倹約減方出来、取り調べ勘定等が行われた。
○御泥池村三十郎の義について、紀州御用途金拝借があったところ、この度村役人へ差し押さえが到来し、御取り立てに相成った段を社中へ届け出たにつき、予へ村役人が差し向けられた。承知したところでは、先達って予へ社中より相渡された三十郎居宅まで、経千が一昨年買い得て置いた夏目二ヶ所・ミクス一ヶ所等の田地に書き入れがあったにつき、なお又この度予より出銀して欲しいとの願いである。これにより予は社中へ罷り出て申し上げた。願いは、右借用銀の義は三十郎一分の拝借銀にて年貢米に関わる義ではないので、村方より相弁するか、又は右田地家等の元銀を経て村方より退銀するか、二通りの内を仰せ付けられたい様申し立てたところ、寺今日は寄会日にてその趣もっともの由評決があり、村役人江申し渡された。然るところ村方出銀の義について、近年凶作につき必至難渋の趣段々相嘆いたにつき、その段地持ちが予へ向かって相嘆く約束の旨内々申し聞かされた由を以て、又々市へ嘆き出た。しかし右田地一件については、先比已来追々年貢米惑等も致し遣わした上である。

23rd day, Tsuchinoe-tatsu, clear. The shrine's economy committee met in the duty rotation room to investigate various matters. Regarding rice distributions to earth hat craftsmen, item craftsmen, etc., it was decided and assigned to the staff that during the economy period, distributions would be reduced by 20%. Also, regarding the collection of overdue barrel fees, reminders were issued, and in addition, October lottery economy reductions were completed, with investigations and accounting conducted.
○Regarding the matter of Doroike Village's Sanjuro: There had been a loan of official funds from Kishu, but this time a seizure order came to the village officials, and when collection was achieved, it was reported to the shrine. Village officials were sent to me. Upon understanding the situation, regarding the mortgage on Sanjuro's residence that was previously handed over to me from the shrine - the paddy fields at two Natsume locations and one Mikusu location that Kyosen had purchased and kept the year before last - there was a request for me to provide additional silver this time. Therefore, I went to the shrine to make a petition. My request was that since the borrowed silver was Sanjuro's personal loan and did not concern annual rice taxes, either the village should handle it or the village should repay the original silver for the said fields and houses - requesting that one of these two methods be ordered. Since today was a meeting day at the temple, it was decided that this was reasonable, and this was communicated to the village officials. However, regarding the village's provision of silver, they repeatedly lamented that it was extremely difficult due to poor harvests in recent years. Because of this, it was privately conveyed that the landowner had promised to petition me about this matter, and so petitions were made to the market again. However, regarding this land case, various rice tax complications had already been dealt with previously.
