鉢肴作り身鯛胡瓜小鉢焼松茸同柿同梨

壱人等へ吸物蛤向附餅同鯛ひれ根ふた二種かまほこ

焼物は若狭小鯛中の大、以上六人前。宗以・嘉蔵・寿光院・美江・富が相伴し、若狭守が後から加わった。更に吸物すまし・鯵・松茸、鉢肴は作り身鯛・胡瓜、小鉢は焼松茸・同柿・同梨・同ひたし物等であった。
供方の下男二人・下女一人・寿光院の供一人等へは、吸物蛤・向付は餅・同鯛ひれ・根蓋二種・かまぼこ・たこ・長芋、鉢肴はふりに二本いり付・ひたし物・飯・汁・煮物・焼物同断、鱠あいませであった。家内一統は汁同断・焼鯵切身等であった。
今日宗以へ婿引きの手物として帯地一條を送った。供の下男両人へ祝義として銭三百文・半紙二折ずつ遣わした。
右の祝酒数献の後、めでたく了えて、宗以・嘉蔵・供両人等各々宿となった。その時亥半刻ほど。今日の料理向きは堺屋吉兵衛方へ申し付けた。
二十九日甲戌雨。今朝残酒を催した。宗以・嘉蔵等一献の後退散、巳半刻であった。肴は鮨・汁・海老・鎧煮・煎り松茸等であった。
三十日甲亥雨。瀬尾弥兵衛方へ。下鴨氏人田中和泉守の娘が入嫁の義、兼ねてから約定のところ、来月二日に引越しの由につき、翌三日親類一統で盃がありたい旨、夕七つ比より罷り越すよう申し来た。○氏人備前介利季、この度奉行所でのご吟味の節があり、入牢を仰せ付けられた趣につき、今日辞官し位記を返上し社家列を放たれたとのこと。
九月小
二日丙寅晴れ。今日吉辰につき約諾に任せ、宇治星野方へ経千・保子・経紀・千代蔵等縁組後始めて罷り越し、美枝・富が帰宅に同道させた。正卯半刻出立。供は侍嘉兵衛・草履取文助・下女うの・星野下女なか・荷持亀四郎。駕二挺・両掛二荷・人足五人・木重にて

Grilled dishes included Wakasa small sea bream of medium to large size, totaling six servings. Shui, Kazō, Jukōin, Mie, and Tomi dined together, with Wakasa-no-kami joining later. Additionally served were clear soup, horse mackerel, and matsutake mushrooms. Bowl dishes included prepared sea bream and cucumber. Small bowls contained grilled matsutake, persimmons, pears, and boiled vegetables.
For the accompanying servants - two male servants, one female servant, and one servant of Jukōin - the menu included clam soup, mukōzuke of rice cakes, sea bream fin, two types of root vegetables with lids, kamaboko, octopus, and long yam. Bowl dishes included two pieces of seasoned fish with accompaniments, boiled vegetables, rice, soup, simmered dishes, grilled dishes (same as above), and mixed raw fish salad. The household members had the same soup and grilled horse mackerel fillets.
Today, as a groom's gift to Shui, one obi fabric was presented. To the two accompanying male servants, as celebration money, 300 mon each and two folded half-papers were given.
After several rounds of celebratory sake, the festivities concluded auspiciously. Shui, Kazō, and the two accompanying servants each retired to their lodgings around half past the hour of the Boar. Today's cooking was ordered from Sakaiya Kichibei.
29th day, Kinoe-inu, rain. This morning, remaining sake was served. After one round, Shui, Kazō and others departed at half past the hour of the Snake. Appetizers included sushi, soup, shrimp, braised dishes, and roasted matsutake.
30th day, Kinoto-i, rain. To Seo Yahei's place. Regarding the marriage of Shimogamo clan member Tanaka Izumi-no-kami's daughter, which had been previously arranged, since the move is scheduled for the 2nd of next month, a request came that all relatives should gather for a celebratory cup on the following 3rd day, asking us to come from around the 7th hour of evening. ○ Clan member Bizen-no-suke Toshisue, having been subjected to investigation at the magistrate's office, was ordered to be imprisoned. Consequently, today he resigned from office, returned his court rank certificate, and was expelled from the shrine family ranks.

Today being an auspicious day, according to the agreement, Kyosen, Yasuko, Kyoki, Chiyozō and others made their first visit to the Uji Hoshino residence after the marriage arrangement, with Mie and Tomi accompanying them on their return home.
