等への御礼回りを勤め終わり、戌半刻頃に帰殿し、直ちに招かれて若御所の御前に出て御礼を申し上げた。
二十九日戊子 晴れ。経紀は今朝麻上下を着て大御所の御前に出て、昨夜の宣下の御札を申し上げた。なお帰宅の後、社中へ参り御礼を申し上げ、それより両惣代・重名・張顕等の邸へ挨拶に行った。○明日晦日午刻に口宣案が相渡される旨、昨日申し渡された件について。
三十日己丑 晴れ。今日午刻に口宣案が相渡される旨のところ、急を要するため巳刻に中宿へ参集するよう更に社中より触れがあった。経紀は御殿より巳前刻に中宿へ行き、一統が相揃った後、伝奏清水谷殿へ参上した。その時、中納言殿は衣冠を着けて一人ずつ口宣案を相渡された。その後奉行坊城殿へ参上し御礼を申し上げ、各々退散した。○奉行坊城殿は故障により辞退し、甘露寺弁殿へ奉行が仰せ出されたという。
四月小
二日辛卯 雨。酉刻、片岡社の正遷宮である。奉行甘露寺弁殿以下地下諸司が申前刻に御参向した。武家方の参勤・国廻り・与力・同心も同様である。かつ当所に火廻りがあり、入夜には門に提灯を出した。今日も三番太鼓を廻り打ちして、追々次第が催された。
五日甲午 晴れ。酉刻、貴船奥端本社の正遷宮である。勅使清水谷中納言殿・次官並びに奉行甘露寺弁殿以下諸司が御参向し、武家方も同様である。
七日丙申 晴れ。瀬尾次兵衛方が大借財につき、従弟千代蔵と称する者が家督相続の義を願い出た。当春正月二十八日に国方半済が申し渡されたため、今日祝いとして白蒸一袋が届いた。もっとも借財方は他聞を憚るため密々の義である。

29th Day, Tsuchinoe-Ne: Clear. This morning Kyōki wore formal hemp dress and appeared before the Great Palace to present the imperial edict tablet from last night's announcement. After returning home, he went to the shrine community to express gratitude, then went to greet both chief representatives, Shigena, Chōken and others at their residences. ○Regarding the matter announced yesterday that the oral imperial edict document would be delivered tomorrow at the last day of the month at the hour of the Horse (noon).
30th Day, Tsuchinoto-Ushi: Clear. Today the oral imperial edict document was to be delivered at the hour of the Horse, but due to urgency, there was an additional notification from the shrine community to assemble at the lodging house at the hour of the Snake (10 AM). Kyōki went from the palace to the lodging house before the hour of the Snake, and after everyone had assembled, they appeared before Imperial Messenger Shimizudani-dono. At that time, the Chūnagon wore court dress and delivered the oral imperial edict documents to each person individually. Afterward, they appeared before Magistrate Bōjō-dono to express gratitude, and everyone dispersed. ○Due to Magistrate Bōjō-dono's illness, he resigned, and the magistrate position was assigned to Kanroji Ben-dono.
4th Month (Small - 29 days)
2nd Day, Kanoto-U: Rain. At the hour of the Cock (6 PM), the formal reconstruction ceremony of Kataoka Shrine took place. Magistrate Kanroji Ben-dono and other lower-ranking officials participated before the hour of the Monkey (3 PM). Military house representatives, domain inspectors, assistants, and attendants did likewise. Moreover, there were fire patrols at this location, and after nightfall, lanterns were placed at the gates. Today too, the third-shift drums were beaten in rounds, and the ceremonies were conducted in proper sequence.
5th Day, Kinoe-Uma: Clear. At the hour of the Cock (6 PM), the formal reconstruction ceremony of Kifune Okuha Main Shrine took place. Imperial Messenger Shimizudani Chūnagon-dono, assistant officials, and Magistrate Kanroji Ben-dono with other officials participated, as did the military house representatives.
7th Day, Hinoe-Saru: Clear. Regarding Seo Jibei's household having large debts, his cousin called Chiyozō submitted a petition for succession to family headship. Since a half-payment settlement was announced on January 28th this spring, today white steamed rice cakes in one bag arrived as congratulations. However, the debt matter was handled secretly to avoid public attention.
