五日壬戌晴競馬會如例御造営ニ付足汰當日共装束
類已下馬具等新調物深色等ニ而殊之外美々敷立派也
所司代松平伊豆守殿初度ニ付御出也閑院宮妙法院宮
曼殊院宮有栖川宮ヨシノ宮等へ御成御覧也○御家門
益君御方御初節句ニ付於御座間一統御祝酒被下也
○今日目附木村勝右衛門當所出役之趣ニ付以後尋問有
之菓子一箱被相送也○青侍方森九十九今度ゟ出勤被仰付候
六日癸亥曇此比流行之三日麻疹ニ付今日より御殿

及入魂置之処今日造作奉行之内政久清嗣右出来為検
分入来無滞相済依之右造作方政久卿季清嗣三人え為
肴料南鐐壱段ツヽ送之上供三平へ青銅百文遣之了

得られたが御殿当番のため参加しなかった。
五日壬戌 晴れ。競馬会は例のごとく、御造営につき足汰（馬の選別）当日とも装束類以下馬具等は新調物で深色等にて殊の外美々しく立派である。所司代松平伊豆守殿が初度につき御出である。閑院宮、妙法院宮、曼殊院宮、有栖川宮、吉野宮等へ御成御覧である。○御家門益君御方の御初節句につき御座間において一統御祝酒を下された。○今日目付木村勝右衛門が当所出役の趣につき、以後尋問があり菓子一箱を送られた。○青侍方森九十九が今度より出勤を仰せ付けられた。
六日癸亥 曇り。この頃流行の三日麻疹につき今日より御殿不参を願い出た。
七日甲子 曇り。興正寺御裏三手居御方が御安産であり男子御誕生とのこと。九ヶ月目とのことである。
十一日己巳 晴れ。この頃の所労が全快につき今日より出勤させた。
十五日癸巳 雨。今宮祭は例年通り。○青侍方川瀬重之が近頃多病につき今日より初仕御断を申し上げた。
十九日丁未 晴れ。経寛の貴船日参順番で早朝より参詣した。○亡父芬経縣主の祥忌日につき保子を召し連れて墓参した。○御造営相済みにつき臨時宣下の仰出で、官位の上輩は来る二十二日までに小折紙を差し出すべき旨の手触れがあった。
二十日戊寅 晴れ。経寛叙爵の小折紙を今日年行事頭起幸方へ差し出した。
二十一日己卯 曇り後雨。土蔵出来届けの義は兼ねて清嗣まで相頼み入魂しておいたところ、今日造作奉行の内政久が清嗣と共に出来検分のため入来し滞りなく相済んだ。これにより右造作方政久卿・季・清嗣三人へ肴料として南鐐一段ずつ送り、上供三平へ青銅百文を遣わした。

5th Day, Mizunoe-Inu: Clear. The horse racing meet proceeded as usual. Due to the shrine reconstruction, the horse selection day featured newly made equipment including costumes and horse gear in deep colors, extraordinarily beautiful and splendid. Shoshidai Matsudaira Izu-no-kami made his inaugural appearance. Imperial princes from Kan'in-no-miya, Myōhō-in-no-miya, Manshu-in-no-miya, Arisugawa-no-miya, and Yoshino-no-miya attended to observe. ○For the first Boys' Day celebration of Lord Masukimi's household, celebratory sake was served to everyone in the formal reception room. ○Today, Inspector Kimura Katsuemon was assigned to duty at our location, and regarding future inquiries, a box of sweets was sent. ○Blue-robed attendant Mori Tsukumo was ordered to begin service from this time.
6th Day, Mizunoto-I: Cloudy. Due to the three-day measles currently epidemic, I requested leave from palace duty starting today.
7th Day, Kinoe-Ne: Cloudy. The lady of Kōshō-ji's rear residence Mitate gave birth safely to a male child. It was said to be in the ninth month.
11th Day, Tsuchinoto-Mi: Clear. My recent illness having completely recovered, I resumed duty today.
15th Day, Mizunoto-Mi: Rain. The Imamiya Festival proceeded as in previous years. ○Blue-robed attendant Kawase Shigeyuki, being frequently ill recently, submitted his resignation from first service starting today.
19th Day, Hinoto-Hitsuji: Clear. For Kyōkan's scheduled daily visit to Kifune, he made pilgrimage from early morning. ○On the memorial day of my late father, Former Governor Bunkyō, I took Yasuko along for a grave visit. ○With the shrine reconstruction completed, there was a proclamation of special appointments, stating that those of upper official ranks must submit small folded papers by the coming 22nd day.
20th Day, Tsuchinoe-Tora: Clear. Kyōkan's small folded paper for rank appointment was submitted today to the head annual administrator Yukimasa.
21st Day, Tsuchinoto-U: Cloudy, then rain. Regarding the completion report for the storehouse, I had previously requested this through Kiyotsugu and put effort into it. Today, Masahisa from among the construction magistrates came with Kiyotsugu to inspect the completion, and it was settled without incident. Accordingly, I sent one dan of silver coins each as refreshment money to the three construction officials Masahisa, Sueki, and Kiyotsugu, and gave 100 mon of copper coins to supervisor Sanpei.
