壱通相添譲證文ニ而五ケ年之約定致し金子相渡有之處昨
午年十二月下旬押詰候而も金子不相返追々及催促之處漸末
二月八日内金壱両弐歩差入残金弐両弐歩并午植月ゟ末七
月迄之別足等未不相納ニ付尚又段々及懸合候之処本人ハ勿論
親類一統得心之上此度永代譲状に書改代銀弐百八拾六匁
八分弐りニ相成今夕三四郎并親類弥次郎源助等印形取之
事一坪相済了但内未二月ニ差入金壱両弐歩九厘遣之處
此内壱歩亀四郎辛労料に遣残壱両壱歩弥次郎依願
當方預ニ相成候也

十五日癸酉 晴れ。御殿の御祝い向けが例の如くあった。若御所の中元御参りのお回りがあった。
十六日甲戌 晴れ。在所中の回礼が例年の如くあった。○経寛が今日■■を持参して転供により参勤させた。ただし例の巳の刻である。
十八日丙子 晴れ。御造営後の御籍書き改めにつき、今日中に位階名乗書付を若役亭まで差し出すべき旨の触れがあり、左の如く書付を差し出した。

二十二日庚辰 曇り時々雨降り。○去る天保元寅年十二月に亀四郎の世話で三の三四郎所持の六人植えの田地字三クス相国寺祖芳院領定納一石四斗二升八合納めの作法、米三斗五升代金四両を遣わし、沽券状一通を相添えた譲り証文で五ヶ年の約定をし、金子を相渡しした所、昨午年十二月下旬押し詰まっても金子を相返さず、追々催促に及んだ所、ようやく末二月八日に内金一両二歩を差し入れ、残金二両二歩並びに午植月より末七月までの別足等をまだ相納めしないにつき、なお又段々掛合いに及んだ所、本人はもちろん親類一統得心の上、この度永代譲状に書き改め、代銀二百八十六匁八分二厘に相成り、今夕三四郎並びに親類弥次郎、源助等の印形を取る事が一坪相済んだ。ただし内、末二月に差し入れた金一両二歩九厘を遣わした所、この内一歩を亀四郎の辛労料に遣わし、残り一両一歩は弥次郎の願いにより当方預かりと相成った。

19th Day, Hinoto-Ushi: Light rain then clear. Had someone serve as substitute for shrine duty rotation.
22nd Day, Kanoe-Tatsu: Cloudy with occasional rain. ○In the 12th month of Tenpō 1, Year of the Tiger, through Kameshirō's mediation, regarding the six-person cultivated rice field called Mikusu owned by Sanoshirō in the Sohō-in domain of Shōkoku-ji temple, with a fixed tribute of 1 koku 4 to 2 shō 8 gō, we arranged a 5-year contract through a transfer deed with attached deed of sale, paying 4 ryō in place of 3 to 5 shō of rice. However, even by late December of last year (Year of the Horse), the money was not returned, and after repeated demands, finally on the 8th day of the 2nd month an advance payment of 1 ryō 2 bu was submitted. Since the remaining 2 ryō 2 bu and additional fees from the planting month to the 7th month of the previous year still had not been paid, we continued negotiations. With the agreement of the principal and all relatives, this was now rewritten as a permanent transfer deed for 286 momme 8 bu 2 rin of silver, and this evening the seals of Sanshirō and relatives Yajirō, Gensuke and others were obtained, completing one tsubo of the matter. However, of the 1 ryō 2 bu 9 rin submitted in the 2nd month, 1 bu was given to Kameshirō as compensation for his trouble, and the remaining 1 ryō 1 bu was placed in our custody at Yajirō's request.
