也右論中ハ大行事勤行之義官家より被差止自然和順
相成候ハヽ可相勤旨被 仰渡有之処和談難相整旨ヲ以双方
より社中へ被届出尚顕晃より和順相成不申候得共何卒明
年大行事勤■此度間其旨傳奉え御願被下度段願
書被差出ニ付老若中へも相談之旨也尤明日ハ元旦
二而御所向御差支共有之二日に可相成由也老若中返答

十八日壬申晴れ 新諸大夫の胡保が今日従五位下に叙せられ甲斐守に任じられた。叙爵は九条家大夫宇郷の例によるという。○家内の煤払いは例の通りである。
十九日癸酉晴れ 節分の祝いに向かうこと例年の通り。
二十二日丙子晴れ 胡保方へ祝いとして参上し、御酒三升を送った。○愛清が今日田充の振る舞いである。招かれたが参加せず、経啓が参加した。
二十四日戊寅晴れ 今日氏総より例年の御田楽奏進に付き、舞人が参勤すべき旨をかねてより触れがあり、代勤を逞清方へ相談して決めた。○三ノ弥助所持の田地字野上岸ノ下六人植、年貢米今日一石九斗一升四合、作徳一斗五升、右の作職を永代譲りとして麦代・樽代として銀百十匁を受け渡し、印形を取った。もっとも売券状一通を添えた。
二十六日庚辰晴れ 家内で餅搗きをした。餅搗きを申し付けた。○経啓が明年十五歳に付き、奏事始めの叙爵の小折紙を今日年行事頭の起幸まで差し出した。
晦日甲申雪 子刻過ぎに三手総老若の参会が催され、五番衆の必顕が出番のところ、前［■］より出京のため予が代わりに出席した。趣旨は、当夏以来藤木図曹大夫顕晃の母子兄弟による家督争論の義があり、既に官辺まで御沙汰に及んだところ、顕晃は明年精進頭の順番である。右の論中は大行事勤行の義を官家より差し止められ、自然和順が成れば勤めることができる旨を仰せ渡されたが、和談が整い難い旨をもって双方より社中へ届け出された。なお顕晃より、和順は成らないが何とぞ明年の大行事を勤めさせてほしい、この度間その旨を伝え奉り御願い下されたい段の願書が差し出されたので、老若中へも相談するとのことである。もっとも明日は元旦で御所向きに御差支えもあるので二日になる由である。老若中の返答は、御存じ寄りの趣意もないので、来る二日に相伺いをしてもしなくても

19th day, Mizunoto-Tori, clear: Proceeding toward the Setsubun celebration as in previous years.
22nd day, Hinoe-Ne, clear: I visited Koho's residence for congratulations and sent three sho of sake. ○ Aishin had Tadamitsu's reception today. Though invited, I did not attend; Kyokei participated.
24th day, Tsuchinoe-Tora, clear: Today, regarding the annual presentation of sacred dengaku from the clan head, there had been prior notice that dancers should report for duty. I arranged for substitute service through Teishin's group. ○ For the rice field owned by San-no-Yasuke, called Nogami Kishi-no-shita Rokunin-ue, with annual tribute rice of 1 koku 9 to 1 sho 4 go today, and cultivation profit of 1 to 5 sho, I received and paid 110 monme of silver for the permanent transfer of these cultivation rights as payment for barley and barrel costs, and obtained the seal impression. A deed of sale was also included.
26th day, Kanoe-Tatsu, clear: Rice cake pounding was done in the household. I ordered the rice cake pounding. ○ Since Kyokei will be fifteen years old next year, I submitted the small folded paper for his court rank at the beginning of imperial service today to the head of annual ceremonies, Okiyuki.
Last day, Kinoe-Saru, snow: After the Hour of the Rat, a meeting of the three groups' senior and junior members was convened. When Hitsaken of the fifth group was supposed to be on duty but had gone to Kyoto from the previous [■], I attended as his substitute. The matter concerned the family succession dispute between Fujiki Zusodaibu Teruaki and his mother, brothers since this summer, which had already reached official attention. Teruaki is scheduled for the purification head duty next year. During this dispute, he has been prohibited from performing the great ceremony duties by the imperial court, with the understanding that he could resume if natural harmony were achieved. However, both sides reported to the shrine community that reconciliation was difficult to arrange. Furthermore, Teruaki submitted a petition requesting that even though harmony had not been achieved, he be allowed to perform next year's great ceremony duties, asking that this request be conveyed and petitioned for. This was also to be discussed among the senior and junior members. Since tomorrow is New Year's Day with imperial court obligations, it would be held on the second day. The senior and junior members' response was that since they had no particular opinion on the matter, whether they would make an inquiry on the coming second day or not
