十七日辛丑小雪経寛諸大夫官位申替蒙 宣下為
祝参御祝肴料金百疋送之也
十八日壬寅晴西中手寄會始両人共令不参也
十九日癸卯晴木津小寺村堺屋庄兵衛願ニ付和州西辻村陣屋
水野石見守殿役人え為懸合早朝より下役藤田梶左衛門幷
仲間彦兵衛下部弐人等召連罷越尤堺屋當庄兵衛為迎
一昨日上京会同伴予乗駕也伏見ニ而中飯入夜木津郷
ヘ着川口屋ニ而泊了
廿日甲辰晴辰刻木津出立六里行田原本と云所領屋ニ着
田原本迎在法豊寺ゟ云所ニ西辻役人中川七右衛門と申
者住居之由ニ付着早々■遣処陣屋へ罷出留主中
也于時申半刻田原本ニ泊○今日手之汁参會遠足中

廿一日乙巳曇午後雨降田原本より三里半行近庄と云所
酢屋某方へ着此所より西辻陣屋へ相町斗有之由着袴
早々陣屋へ雄左衛門差遣處中川河多え罷越未帰村
無之由帰り次第可及返答旨也依而近庄に逗留也
廿二日丙午晴堺庄手代源蔵と申者案内ニ而予壱人
乗駕下部壱人召連早朝より三輪社初御長谷寺参
詣桜井宿ニ而中飯多武峯ニ而明之三輪社鳥居御扉
附也多武峯石鳥居ニニ淡路大権現と記額懸也
廿三日丁未雪強々早天多武峯鎌足公御社参詣正辰
削總社之拝殿ニ而坊中参集御祈祷修行有之也裏

紀は御殿へ出仕せず不参であった。
十七日辛丑小雪 経寛の諸大夫官位申請が宣下を蒙ったため、祝いとして参上し、御祝肴料として金百疋を送った。
十八日壬寅晴れ 西中手寄會始まりだが、両人共に不参とした。
十九日癸卯晴れ 木津小寺村の堺屋庄兵衛の願いにつき、和州西辻村陣屋の水野石見守殿の役人へ掛け合いのため、早朝より下役の藤田梶左衛門並びに仲間の彦兵衛、下部二人等を召し連れて出向いた。もっとも堺屋当庄兵衛が迎えのため一昨日上京し、同伴して私の乗駕となった。伏見にて中飯をとり、入夜に木津郷へ着き、川口屋に泊まった。
二十日甲辰晴れ 辰刻に木津を出立し、六里行って田原本という所の旅籠屋に着いた。田原本から迎えの在る法豊寺という所に、西辻役人の中川七右衛門という者が住居しているとのことで、着いて早々に使いを遣わしたところ、陣屋へ出かけており留主中であった。申半刻に田原本に泊まった。○今日は手之汁参會があったが、遠足中につき不参となった。
二十一日乙巳曇り午後雨降り 田原本より三里半行って近庄という所の酢屋某方へ着いた。この所より西辻陣屋へは相当の町ほどあるとのことで、着袴して早々陣屋へ雄左衛門を差し遣わしたところ、中川は川田へ出かけており、まだ帰村していないとのことで、帰り次第返答するとのことであった。よって近庄に逗留することとなった。
二十二日丙午晴れ 堺庄手代の源蔵という者の案内にて、私一人が乗駕し、下部一人を召し連れ、早朝より三輪社を初めとして御長谷寺に参詣した。桜井宿にて中飯をとり、多武峯にて夜を明かした。三輪社の鳥居は御扉付きである。多武峯の石鳥居には淡路大権現と記した額が掛けてある。
二十三日丁未雪強く 早天に多武峯の鎌足公御社に参詣した。正辰刻に総社の拝殿にて坊中が参集し、御祈祷修行が行われた。裏

17th day, Kanoto-ushi, light snow. Since Keikan received the decree for his application for shoōdaibu rank, I went to offer congratulations and sent one hundred hiki of gold as celebratory feast money.
18th day, Mizunoe-tora, clear. The beginning of the Nishinaka gathering, but both persons did not attend.
19th day, Mizunoto-u, clear. Regarding the petition of Sakaiya Shōbei from Kizu Kodera village, in order to negotiate with the officials of Lord Mizuno Iwami-no-kami at Nishitsuji village encampment in Yamato Province, from early morning I took along my subordinate Fujita Kajizaemon, colleague Hikobei, and two servants and departed. Sakaiya Tō-Shōbei had come up to Kyoto two days ago to meet us and accompanied me in my palanquin. We had lunch at Fushimi, and after nightfall arrived at Kizu township and stayed at Kawaguchiya.
20th day, Kinoe-tatsu, clear. Departed Kizu at the hour of the dragon (7-9 AM), traveled six ri and arrived at an inn in a place called Tawaramoto. From Tawaramoto, there was supposedly a Hōbōji temple where the Nishitsuji official named Nakagawa Shichizaemon resided, so immediately upon arrival I sent a messenger, but he had gone to the encampment and was not at home. At half past the hour of the monkey (3:30 PM) I stayed at Tawaramoto. ○ Today there was a Te-no-shiru meeting, but I could not attend as I was traveling.
21st day, Kinoto-mi, cloudy with afternoon rain. Traveled three and a half ri from Tawaramoto and arrived at the residence of a certain Suya in a place called Chikashō. From this place to Nishitsuji encampment was said to be about one chō, so I put on my hakama and immediately sent Yūzaemon to the encampment, but Nakagawa had gone to Kawada and had not yet returned to the village, and would give a reply upon his return. Therefore I stayed in Chikashō.
22nd day, Hinoe-uma, clear. Guided by Genzō, an agent of Sakaishō, I alone took a palanquin with one servant and from early morning made pilgrimages to Miwa Shrine and then to Hasedera Temple. Had lunch at Sakurai post station and spent the night at Tōnomine. Miwa Shrine's torii has sacred doors attached. At Tōnomine's stone torii hangs a plaque inscribed "Awaji Daigongen."
