二日乙卯晴れ 正月二十日の五番衆手の汁参会の節、転供として庚戻清清、矢保介充貴舩の転供として氏彦、五日の乗尻として必顕氏敦、朔日の乗尻として保綱等を選任したとのこと。○正月二十三日の西中手出席で兼頼の節、三男三雄太郎経啓が当年めでたく出席できる旨を申し入れた。もっとも今日、経紀の順番につき触れを行うとのこと。○酉半刻（午後6時半頃）に藤田権左衛門が帰参。二十九日に西辻陣屋の役人より滞りなく証書二通を請け取り、堺屋庄兵衛方へ渡し帰った旨、すなわち写しを持ち帰り、一件は先ず事が相済んだ。
三日丙辰晴れ 経寛が今般諸大夫の官位に申し替えとなったため、御礼として一条家へ祝いの白蒸一器を献上した。経寛は麻上下を着用し、大御所の御前に持参して差し上げ、私も相添って御礼申し上げた後、老女川嶋を通じて御肴料として金二朱を下された。右同様により、同家より宅へも今日白蒸一器並びに鯣一把が到来した。○昨二日、御蔵年番中より札本沙汰人の引米判一石を持参として遣わされ、めでたく頂戴した。もっとも受取書を遣わした。○この度、亀四郎の世話により三ノ弥次郎所持の田地、字山畑二人植、年貢米定納五升、作徳一斗五升、右の作職を永代譲り受け、樽代として銀百十匁を遣わし、内今日金一両を相渡し印形を取った。もっとも売券状一通を相添えた。
五日戊午晴れ 今朝、札本沙汰人中の役により会所において経千亭の朝飯があり参集した。月番の経文代孝久、経紹、経益、顕経の四人、札元雑掌代の逞清等、顕物書の全清代愛清、沙汰人代の具幸、必顕、胖顕ら十人の献立は左の如し。もっとも先規の通りである。

Regarding the participation in the soup gathering of the fifth group on the 20th day of the first month, the following were appointed: Kōrei Seisei as transfer attendant, Ujihiko as transfer attendant for Yahonosuke Mitsuune, Hitsuaki Ujiatsu as rider for the 5th day, Hōtsuna and others as riders for the 1st day, etc. ○ On the 23rd day of the first month, at the Nishinaka gathering when Kaneraii attended, it was announced that the third son Mio Tarō Keikei would be able to attend auspiciously this year. Today, regarding Keiki's turn, the notification was made. ○ At the latter half of the hour of the cock (around 6:30 PM), Fujita Gonzaemon returned. On the 29th day, he successfully received two certificates from the officials of Nishitsuji camp headquarters, delivered them to Sakaiya Shōbei, and returned. 3rd day, Hinoe-tatsu, clear. Since Keikan was transferred to the court rank of shōdayū, as a gesture of congratulations, one container of celebratory white steamed rice cake was presented to the Ichijō family. Keikan wore hemp ceremonial dress and brought it before the Great Lord. After I also accompanied him in offering thanks, we were granted two shu of gold as fish money through the elderly court lady Kawashima. For the same reason, one container of white steamed rice cake and one bundle of dried squid arrived at my residence from the same family today. ○ Yesterday on the 2nd, the annual warehouse keeper sent one koku of rice allowance for the document administrator, which I gratefully received. I sent a receipt for it. ○ This time, through Kameshirō's mediation, I permanently acquired the cultivation rights to the paddy field owned by Sanno Yajirō, located in the area called Yamahata with two-person planting, with fixed annual rice tax of five shō and crop profit of one to five shō. I paid 110 monme of silver as barrel money, of which I handed over one ryō of gold today and received the seal. A bill of sale was also included.
5th day, Tsuchinoe-uma, clear. This morning, there was a morning meal at Keisen's residence at the meeting hall by the document administrators, and we gathered. The monthly officials were four people: Keibun's substitute Takahisa, Keishō, Keimasu, and Akiratsune; the document office deputy Teisei and others; the document clerk Zensei's substitute Aisei; and the administrator representatives Gukō, Hitsuaki, and Hanaki - ten people in total. The menu was as follows, according to precedent:
