役之経紀御供也○経寛入来令参社也○今日御祭轉供
祝方第二臈也令直参仍而平縒結髪浴湯申刻過
三番太皷打着衣冠単冠ニ挿榊日蔭蔓雑色一人
白丁壱人亀四郎親子召連出仕湯屋出張惣奉行中へ
届三鳥居より二鳥居祢宜橋玉橋楼門中門ヲ経
而直會所ニ昇尤二鳥居二而着沓順路社之一拝了
酉刻御神事始社司参進ヲ見而祝方へ廻ル着座無
程御戸開左右神供献進如何外陣神供祢宜方ゟ
備進之後更ニ柱殿御戸開左右神供献進是又
如例此時祝方轉供 本宮東スへリ板迄進役送也
了而社廻り祝方第一轉供奕顕第二経千片岡社へ
参進祢宜経久祝政又直参也御戸開内外神供献
進如例但内陣尋常御櫃御料之外ニ四十二之御料
と称し小鯵四十二小御櫃ニ入進其余外如摂社尤庭上
御料供進御錠包等之役送如例上首奕顕役之了
而互ニ挨拶申述退下亥前刻斗 勅使愛宕中将殿已
下舞人陪従各参向加陪従青木信濃小路云々子前刻
諸事如例相済御退出也珍重々々
十三日壬戌晴堀川近江守仏義昨年来風狂発病ニ付
此度浦野泰安次男光太郎七才養子相続之儀
難波伊豫守常成世話ニ而内約相整今日同家堀
川弾正忠を以粮子願書差出候但し今度相續入
表向ハ御殿思召ヲ以被仰付之趣向之被申渡也
尤近江守実守新宮涼庭へハ兼而経千より及懸合
現代語訳
役の経紀が御供である。○経寛が入来して参社した。○今日の御祭の転供祝方第二臈である。直参のため平縒結髪し、浴湯して申刻過ぎに三番太鼓が打たれ、衣冠単冠に榊・日蔭蔓を挿し、雑色一人、白丁一人、亀四郎親子を召し連れて出仕した。湯屋出張・惣奉行中へ届け、三鳥居より二鳥居・祢宜橋・玉橋・楼門・中門を経て直会所に昇った。もっとも二鳥居で着沓し、順路社を一拝した。酉刻に御神事が始まり、社司の参進を見て祝方へ廻る。着座して程なく御戸開き、左右に神供献進すること例の如し。外陣神供は祢宜方より備え進めた後、更に柱殿の御戸開き、左右に神供献進、これも例の如し。この時祝方転供、本宮東すべり板まで進み役送である。了して社廻り、祝方第一転供奕顕、第二経千が片岡社へ参進、祢宜経久・祝政もまた直参である。御戸開き、内外神供献進例の如し。ただし内陣は尋常の御櫃御料の外に四十二の御料と称し、小鯵四十二を小御櫃に入れ進めた。その余外は摂社の如く、もっとも庭上御料供進・御錠包等の役送例の如し。上首奕顕の役が了して互いに挨拶申し述べ退下した。亥前刻ほど、勅使愛宕中将殿以下舞人・陪従各々参向し、陪従に加わったのは青木信濃・小路云々。子前刻に諸事例の如く相済み御退出である。珍重々々。
十三日壬戌 晴 堀川近江守仏義は昨年来風狂発病のため、この度浦野泰安の次男光太郎七歳を養子相続の儀、難波伊予守常成の世話で内約相整い、今日同家堀川弾正忠を以て養子願書を差し出した。ただし今度の相続入りは、表向きは御殿の思召しを以て仰せ付けられる趣向で申し渡された。もっとも近江守の実子は新宮涼庭へ、兼ねて経千より懸合いに及んだ。

The attendant role was performed by Keiki. ○ Keikan came and attended the shrine. ○ Today's festival転供祝方 (shrine offering rotation) was the second rank. For direct attendance, he arranged his hair in hiramoyori style, took a purifying bath, and after the hour of the monkey (申刻), when the third drum was beaten, he donned court dress with a simple cap decorated with sacred sakaki branches and shadow vines, accompanied by one minor official, one attendant, and Kameshiro with his son for service. He reported to the bathhouse officials and general administrators, then proceeded from the third torii through the second torii, Negi Bridge, Tama Bridge, tower gate, and middle gate to ascend to the banquet hall. At the second torii, he put on his shoes and made one bow at the wayside shrine. At the hour of the cock (酉刻), the sacred ritual began. After observing the shrine officials' procession, he proceeded to the celebrant area. Shortly after taking his seat, the sacred doors opened and divine offerings were presented on both sides as usual. After the outer sanctuary offerings were prepared and presented by the Negi officials, the doors of the pillar hall were opened again and divine offerings presented on both sides, also as usual. At this time, the celebrants rotated the offerings, proceeding to the eastern sliding boards of the main shrine to perform their duties. After completion, they made the shrine rounds. The first celebrant Ekiken and second Kesen proceeded to Kataoka Shrine, where Negi Keikyu and celebrant Masanao also attended directly. The sacred doors opened and inner and outer divine offerings were presented as usual. However, in the inner sanctuary, in addition to the usual sacred containers and offerings, there was what was called "the offering of forty-two" - forty-two small horse mackerel placed in small sacred containers. The rest was like the subsidiary shrines, with courtyard offerings, sacred wrapped packages, and other ritual duties performed as usual. After the head celebrant Ekiken completed his duties, they exchanged greetings and withdrew. Around the hour before the boar (亥前刻), Imperial Messenger Lord Atago Chujo and below, dancers and attendants each arrived, with Aoki Shinano and Koji among the attendants. By the hour before the rat (子前刻), all matters were completed as usual and the imperial withdrawal took place. Most auspicious indeed.
Thirteenth day, Mizunoe-inu (壬戌), clear. Horikawa Omi-no-kami Butsugi has been suffering from mental illness since last year, so arrangements were made through the mediation of Namba Iyo-no-kami Tsunenari for the adoption and succession of Urano Yasuyasu's second son Kotaro, age seven. Today, the adoption petition was submitted through the same family's Horikawa Danjojo. However, this succession was officially presented as being appointed by the will of the palace. The actual son of Omi-no-kami was already discussed with Shingu Ryotei through Kesen's prior negotiations.
