関東御在府之処先比已来御所労ニ有之内実當月十四日御逝
去之由申来昨夕書状着也尤 大御所御実妹ニ而未表向
御披露無之候得共承始御祝向惣而被相止半減之御仮日数

この外、縁家の辺りにつき経千へ金三百疋、美佐尾へ金二百疋、鮭紀へ金百疋等を送られた。
二十三日壬申 堀川左衛門弘美相続につき差し出し入れの九百両の内へ、今日三百両差し出し、直様御殿より新宮涼庭へ渡された。ただし涼庭の代理へ親類相馬一郎が罷り出で、経千より渡す。もっとも一札を差し出し、御用人中からも書付を渡す。ただし右三百両の内、岩倉柏村へ返金の手当てとして五十六両、さらに御用人中へ預ける。○弘美今日口宣案を頂戴する。もっとも初官位小折紙以下、同家堀川弾正忠が代勤する。今日別当殿・職事方等へ生鯛一折ずつ進上、先規である。

The money was delivered this evening and the promissory note received. ○ New Year celebratory gifts were bestowed from the government treasury as in previous years, amounting to about 150 monme for the dragon year.

Upon the completion of Horikawa Saemon-no-shi Hiromi's succession petition and initial court rank proclamation, I and Keiki sent congratulatory offerings of one tray of delicacies, fresh sea bream, and five portions of ark shells.
