散米同土器ニ水入於御座間勤之先着座々揖二拝
美曽幾祓次取小麻三種秡三度次散米五方次水三度
取榊枝洗之了而二拝拝八方始子終戌亥右祓之具
其侭若御所御居間へ差上也〇巳刻若御所年
始御参御板輿也○二頭人季矩三頭人万顕等ゟ参會
ニ付被相招候得共御殿御事ニ付不参経啓壱人万顕方へ
為詰合早天より罷越也右ニ付玉子壱篭送之了
○大御所今日より於弁御殿更ニ御別火也云々
○今日下宿掛親類之内施業院瀬尾両家等へ内々年頭
参礼申述尤衣躰服紗麻上下也但し瀬尾両家ニ而旧冬
千代蔵へ被送菓子料之挨拶厚申述也
十日戊子時旧臘帯刀太夫清葉ゟ譲請年貢米二ケ所
今日職中季金え届之書附如左

七日乙酉晴れ、若御所の今朝内実の御忌の段につき御清祓いを仰せ付けられ、
早朝に出仕し、御浴場の節に御清祓いを相勤めるべき旨を仰せ出された。そこで、その
以前に浴湯し、浄衣を着用し、笏・祓いの具は例の如く、机一脚、小麻
一棒、八下り、榊枝一本、七葉八寸、三度土器に切麻・切椒葉・
散米、同じく土器に水を入れ、御座間において勤めた。先ず着座し、座揖・二拝、
美曽岐祓い、次に小麻を取り三種の秡を三度、次に散米五方、次に水三度、
榊枝を取り洗い終えて二拝、八方を拝し、子に始まり戌亥に終わる。右祓いの具は
そのまま若御所の御居間へ差し上げた。○巳刻、若御所の年
始御参は御板輿であった。○二頭人季矩、三頭人万顕等から参会に
つき招かれたが、御殿の御事につき参らず、経啓一人が万顕方へ
詰合のため早朝より罷り越した。右につき玉子一籠を送った。
○大御所は今日より弁御殿において更に御別火である。
○今日、下宿掛けの親類の内、施業院・瀬尾両家等へ内々に年頭の
参礼を申し述べた。もとより衣体は服紗麻の上下である。但し瀬尾両家において旧冬
千代蔵へ送られた菓子料の挨拶を厚く申し述べた。
十日戊子、時に旧臘、帯刀太夫清葉から譲り請けた年貢米二ヶ所、
今日職中季金へ届けた書付は左の如し。

7th day, Kinoto-tori, clear weather. Regarding this morning's mourning period for Naijitsu of the Young Lord's household, purification was ordered.
Early in the morning, I attended court and was instructed to perform purification during the bathing ceremony. Therefore,
beforehand I bathed, donned pure white robes, and prepared the ritual implements as customary: one desk, hemp rope
one rod, eight-fold descent, one sakaki branch, seven leaves eight sun long, threefold earthenware vessels with cut hemp, cut tachibana leaves,
scattered rice, water in similar earthenware vessels. I performed the ritual in the sitting room. First I took my seat, performed the sitting bow and two deep bows,
Misogi purification, then took the hemp rope and performed three types of ritual sweeping three times, then scattered rice in five directions, then water three times,
took the sakaki branch, washed it, and concluded with two bows, worshipping the eight directions, beginning with the Rat (north) and ending with Dog-Boar (northwest). These purification implements were
then presented as they were to the Young Lord's sitting room. ○ At the hour of the Snake (9-11 AM), the Young Lord's New Year
visit was by palanquin. ○ Second Head Suenori and Third Head Banken invited me to
a gathering, but due to palace matters I did not attend. Kyōkei alone went to Banken's residence
for consultation from early morning. In connection with this, one basket of eggs was sent.
○ From today, the Great Lord maintains ritual fire separation at Ben Palace.
○ Today, I made private New Year's courtesy calls to relatives of the lower residence staff,
including the Shigyōin and both Seo families. Naturally, the attire was mourning hemp kamishimo. However, at both Seo families, I offered sincere gratitude for the confection money sent to Chiyozō last winter.
10th day, Tsuchinoe-ne. Previously in the 12th month, regarding the annual rice tax from two locations transferred from Sword-Bearer Tayu Kiyoha,
today the following document was submitted to Kikin of the administrative staff:
