逞清が兼ね頼まれ領掌した。
二月小
朔日己酉晴れ 旧冬以来、米一石百八十匁ほどにつき、百姓どもが年貢米を納めないことが多く、社中では当二月より来る戌の正月まで、先例の准拠を以て一統倹約を相立てた。これにより今日は恒例の六役のくじはなく、札本評定役の内で先規の如く勤められた。
二日庚戌曇り 葵祭の近習使として滋野井殿が仰せ出されたとのこと。ただし例では朔日に仰せ出される所、禁中の御徳日につき今日仰せ出された。○入夜に小雨、戌の前刻に村雲御所が出火、亥の刻頃に鎮火した。
五日癸丑 卯半刻に雷鳴数声、夕立の後晴れとなり風が激しい。○御殿百疋懸御講の二十三会目が例の如く行われ、奥田屋が出役した。
七日乙卯雨 御講勘定がいかに相済んだか。○関東御使の保田刑部権少輔が明八日発駕につき、祝いのため参上し祝酒を出した。ただし保田加■は当年初度の年若につき、藤懸内蔵が付添を仰せ付けられ下向した。これにより兼ねてから保田、藤懸小三郎、仲間の喜八等へ餞別物を送った。ただし保田へは足袋二足、その外は同じく一足ずつである。○保文より猪飼順三郎の二男死去、去る十二月二十日に死去した由が達せられた。ただし服喪にあたらず仮二日で千子を着けるべき所、数日相過ぎたためその義に及ばない。
十一日己未晴れ 午後に夕立。月次御祈祷の出番につき参勤、長友神主望久卿以下が参勤し諸事例の如くである。○午後早々に西中手勘定参会があり、予と経啓が参集し、経紀は参らなかった。ただし当年の倹約につき飯はなく、退席時に肴一種が差し出された。

Second Month (Small)
1st day,己酉, Clear - Since last winter, with rice at about 180 monme per koku, many peasants have failed to pay their annual rice tribute. The shrine community has established unified austerity measures from this second month until next year's first month of the Dog year, based on precedent. Accordingly, today there was no drawing of lots for the usual six roles, and duties were performed as before within the fuda-moto council roles.
2nd day, 庚戌, Cloudy - Lord Shigeino-i was appointed as kinshū-tsukai (close attendant messenger) for the Aoi Festival. Normally this would be announced on the 1st day, but due to it being an auspicious day at the Imperial Court, it was announced today. ○In the evening, light rain; around the hour before Inu (7-9 PM), a fire broke out at Murakumo Palace, and it was extinguished around the hour of I (9-11 PM).
5th day, 癸丑 - At the half-hour of U (around 6 AM), thunder rumbled several times; after an evening shower it cleared and the wind was strong. ○The 23rd meeting of the Palace's Hundred-hiki Lecture was held as usual, with Okudaya serving as officer.
7th day, 乙卯, Rain - How the lecture accounting was completed. ○As Yasuda Gyōbu Gon-shōyū, the envoy to Kantō, was to depart tomorrow on the 8th, I visited to offer congratulations and ceremonial sake. However, since Yasuda Ka[?] was a first-time young attendant this year, Fujikake Naizen was appointed as escort for the journey. Accordingly, farewell gifts were sent in advance to Yasuda, Fujikake Kozaburō, and their companion Kihachi. Yasuda received two pairs of tabi socks, while the others received one pair each. ○A message came from Yasufumi that the second son of Inkai Jun'zaburō had died on the 20th of last December. However, since it didn't warrant mourning attire and only a provisional two-day period was required for wearing the senshi garment, and several days had already passed, there was no need for such observances.
11th day, 己未, Clear - Evening shower in the afternoon. For the monthly prayer duty shift, I attended service, and Head Priest Nagatomo, Divine Master Mōchiku, and others attended with all matters proceeding as usual. ○In the early afternoon, there was a meeting for the western-middle accounting. I and Keikei attended, while Keiki did not participate. Due to this year's austerity measures, no meal was served, and one type of side dish was offered upon departure.
