にて三十郎旧冬皆不納之處未不相納ニ付息翁松大夫より

十六日甲子曇山本町乙吉《割書：石松弟也｜》蟻ケ池小池へ投身溺死
今日申前刻斗露顕川水不浄ニ成不及検使相済云々
十八日丙寅晴金懸御構廿會目如例於三本木吉田屋
有之出役戌前刻相済也
十九日丁卯晴千代蔵瀬尾次兵衛方へ養子相續之義今日
初而岩佐讃岐介氏啓方へ相談旁及吹聴存寄無之旨也
尤経董経威へハ兼而内意及諸置之
廿日戊辰晴入夜雨昨十九日辰刻比大坂東天満と申町出火
追々焼廣り及大火到今朝鎮火云々○中飯後於社中

廿一日己巳雨大坂大火ニ付今朝鷹司関白様より御觸書御
回文御到来也写如左
跡部山城守組与力大塩格之助父隠居大塩平八郎同組
与力同心五六人外百姓共徒党いたし候風聞ニ而十九日
巳刻比右平八郎天満居宅近所同組与力宅へ火を
掛其後棒火矢又者鉄炮等打放所〻江火を懸燃上
り候ニ付町奉行御目付え申渡召捕手當申付仕儀

十三日辛酉雨 神楽講九回目の出役で、諸事例の如く相済み、戌の前刻（午後7時頃）に帰宅した。
十五日癸亥晴れ 涅槃会の賭け事の御籤が下された、例年の如くである。○昨十四日、社中より招かれた趣旨は、故大和介俊胤の往来田で、予の下地下作において三十郎が旧冬皆納めなかった所、未だに納めていないため、息翁松大夫より願いにより取り計らわれたとのことである。これにより右の後室へ裏作ができるまで猶予の儀を申し入れ置いた。
十六日甲子曇り 山本町の乙吉（石松の弟である）が蟻ヶ池の小池へ投身して溺死した。今日申の前刻頃に露見し、川水が不浄となったが検使に及ばず相済んだとのこと。
十八日丙寅晴れ 金懸御講の二十回目が例の如く三本木の吉田屋において行われ、出役し戌の前刻に相済んだ。
十九日丁卯晴れ 千代蔵の瀬尾次兵衛方への養子相続の義について、今日初めて岩佐讃岐介氏啓方へ相談しつつ吹聴に及んだが、存じ寄りはない旨である。もっとも経董、経威へは兼ねて内意を諮り置いた。
二十日戊辰晴れ入夜雨 昨十九日辰の刻比（午前8時頃）大坂東天満という町で出火し、追々焼け広がって大火となり、今朝鎮火したとのこと。○中飯後、社中において神楽講勘定が例の如く相済んだ。
二十一日己巳雨 大坂大火につき今朝鷹司関白様より御触書御回文が御到来した。写しは以下の通り。
跡部山城守組与力大塩格之助の父で隠居の大塩平八郎、同組の与力同心五六人外、百姓ども徒党をなしたとの風聞で、十九日巳の刻比（午前10時頃）右平八郎の天満居宅近所の同組与力宅へ火をかけ、その後棒火矢または鉄砲等を打ち放ち所々へ火をかけ燃え上がったため、町奉行、御目付へ申し渡し召捕の手当てを申し付けた次第。

13th day, 辛酉, Rain - Attended the 9th session of the Kagura Lecture as an officer. All matters were completed as usual, and I returned home around the hour before Inu (around 7 PM).
15th day, 癸亥, Clear - The lottery for Nirvana Day gambling was distributed as in previous years. ○Yesterday on the 14th, I was invited by the shrine community. The matter concerned the irrigation fields of the late Yamato-no-suke Toshitane, where Sanjūrō had failed to pay all his dues as my tenant farmer last winter and still had not paid. This was being handled at the request of Sokuō Matsudayū. Accordingly, I arranged for a grace period for the aforementioned widow until the winter crop could be harvested.
16th day, 甲子, Cloudy - Otokichi of Yamamoto-chō (younger brother of Ishimatsu) threw himself into the small pond at Ariga-ike and drowned. This came to light today around the hour before Saru (around 2 PM). The river water became polluted, but since no official inspection was required, the matter was resolved.
18th day, 丙寅, Clear - The 20th session of the Gold-stake Lecture was held as usual at Yoshidaya in Sanbongi. I served as officer and it concluded around the hour before Inu.
19th day, 丁卯, Clear - Regarding Chiyozō's adoption and succession to the Seo Jibei family, today for the first time I consulted with Iwasa Sanuki-no-suke Ujikei and spread word about it, but there were no particular opinions. I had already privately consulted with Keitō and Keitake beforehand.
20th day, 戊辰, Clear, rain in the evening - Yesterday on the 19th around the hour of Tatsu (around 8 AM), a fire broke out in the district called Higashi-Temma in Osaka. It gradually spread and became a great fire, which was extinguished this morning. ○After the midday meal, the Kagura Lecture accounting was completed as usual at the shrine.
21st day, 己巳, Rain - Regarding the great fire in Osaka, this morning an official circular document arrived from Lord Takatsukasa, the Kampaku. A copy follows:
Ōshio Heihachirō, father of Ōshio Kakunosuke (a yoriki of Atobe Yamashiro-no-kami's group) and now in retirement, along with five or six yoriki and dōshin from the same group and various peasants, formed a rebel band. According to reports, on the 19th around the hour of Mi (around 10 AM), the said Heihachirō set fire to the residence of a fellow yoriki near his own dwelling in Temma, then fired incendiary arrows and guns, setting fires in various places that blazed up. Therefore, orders were given to the town magistrate and inspectors to arrange for his arrest.
