組与力同心召連見届且為押被行向云々尤各具足以下

浦野泰安より差出金都合九百両之内旧年十二月廿三日
三百両差出残六百両尚又今日納之但し内家質差入
元八貫匁之利足應對之上差引銭五百八拾六両壱歩弐朱
持参即刻新宮涼庭代人親類相馬一郎へ村田予
両人立會相渡尤新宮相馬両人調印之一札幷請
取書等相馬より差出是又節刻村田より浦野泰安代
舎弟山本政之助へ被相渡一義事相済了
廿六日甲戌曇経寛過日来瘡毒ニ而引籠之所全快出仕

昨日二十三日申の刻、弥兵衛の養生が叶わず死去した旨である。残念でならない。即刻立ち寄って息子をはじめ一統へ弔意を申し入れた。然るところ、子息磨四郎がまだ藤堂屋敷の家督相続願いが済んでいないため、表向きに披露することができず、今夜寺門で内々に密葬を行う旨である。○大坂大火について御殿より木田庄左衛門へお尋ねのため、使いとして仲間代の辻花善兵衛に久助を付き添わせて下された。品物は羽二重一疋、手代両人には金二百疋ずつを持たせて送った。二十一日夜に船で差し下したところ、昨夕帰京した由。鉄屋庄左衛門主従は丸焼けになったが、いずれも怪我はなかったとのこと。○大坂出火は大塩平八郎の徒党で、丹波野瀬妙見山に百人ほどが立て籠もっている由。これにより昨日二十三日、東町奉行佐橋長門守が組の与力同心を召し連れて見届けかつ鎮圧のために向かった云々。もっとも各々具足以下兵具をそれぞれ持ち下った旨である。
二十五日癸酉晴れ 瀬尾磨四郎方へ参り、香典として金百疋を送った。○小野聖廟へ参詣した。○堀川左衛門志弘美の相続について、浦野泰安より差し出した金都合九百両の内、旧年十二月二十三日に三百両を差し出し、残り六百両をなお又今日納めた。但し内訳として家質差し入れ元八貫匁の利足に応対の上差し引いて、銭五百八十六両一歩二朱を持参した。即刻新宮涼庭の代人、親類の相馬一郎へ村田と予の両人が立ち会って相渡した。もっとも新宮・相馬両人調印の一札並びに請取書等を相馬より差し出し、これも即刻村田より浦野泰安の代理である舎弟山本政之助へ相渡され、一義の事が相済んだ。
二十六日甲戌曇り 経寛が過日来瘡毒で引き籠もっていたところ、全快して出仕することになり入来した。左の名前で大坂出火の徒党の由を持参し、一覧させた。

Yesterday on the 23rd day at the hour of Saru (around 3-5 PM), Yahei's treatment was unsuccessful and he passed away. This is infinitely regrettable. I immediately visited to offer condolences to his son and the entire household. However, since his son Mashirō's petition for succession to the Tōdō estate has not yet been completed, it cannot be announced publicly, so a secret funeral will be held privately at the temple tonight. ○ Regarding the great fire in Osaka, a messenger was sent from the palace to inquire of Kida Shōzaemon. Tsujihana Zenbei, representing his colleagues, was sent with Kyūsuke as an attendant. They were given one bolt of habutae silk, and each of the two clerks was given 200 hiki of gold to take with them. They were sent down by boat on the night of the 21st and returned to Kyoto yesterday evening. Tetsuya Shōzaemon and his retainers were completely burned out, but fortunately none were injured. ○ The Osaka fire was caused by Ōshio Heihachirō's faction, and about one hundred of them have fortified themselves at Myōken-zan in Tanba Nose. Consequently, yesterday on the 23rd, Eastern Town Magistrate Sahashi Nagato-no-kami led his yoriki and dōshin to investigate and suppress them. Each carried full armor and military equipment.
25th day, 癸酉, Clear - I visited Seo Mashirō's residence and sent 100 hiki of gold as incense money (funeral offering). ○ I made a pilgrimage to Ono Sacred Shrine. ○ Regarding the succession of Horikawa Saemon Shihiromi, of the total 900 ryō that Urano Taian was to pay, 300 ryō was paid on December 23rd of last year, and the remaining 600 ryō was paid today. However, after accounting for interest on the 8 kan monme house mortgage and other calculations, 586 ryō, 1 bu, and 2 shu in cash was brought. This was immediately handed over to Aima Ichirō, Shinkyū Ryōtei's representative and relative, with both Murata and myself present as witnesses. Signed documents and receipts from both Shinkyū and Aima were presented by Aima, and these were immediately handed over by Murata to Yamamoto Masanosuke, younger brother and representative of Urano Taian, completing this matter.
