二日己卯晴経千下地深沼池村字五反恒内野々上等之
田地旧冬年貢米下作三ノ新五郎向々不納致し不埒
ニ付此度竹ヶ鼻町東郷小使源次郎を以村役角市
権平等へ申付右二ケ所之裏作田地共取上ケ申渡不納
之分両田地裏作ヲ以五反恒内之方相納野々上之分
は新五郎親類一統より相弁可納之約定也依之新五郎
家蔵社中へ御座上ヶニ相成今夜其旨被申渡尚年貢米皆
納相済之上氏族之者へ可被返下候内意云々

御祝句御祝酒被下等如例年也
五日壬午晴御祭御下行米残銀今日配分也壱人分入用
引予金ニ而壱両壱歩弐朱ト残四十文頂戴也尚後割
轉供銭五百文若役より被相渡也

三月大
二日己卯晴れ 経千の下地深沼池村字五反恒内野々上等の田地について、旧冬の年貢米を下作三ノ新五郎が向々納めず、不埒につき、この度竹ヶ鼻町東郷小使源次郎を以て村役の角市・権平等へ申し付け、右二ヶ所の裏作田地共に取り上げを申し渡した。不納の分は両田地の裏作を以て五反恒内の方は相納し、野々上の分は新五郎親類一統より弁済して納める約定である。これにより新五郎の家蔵は社中へ御座上げとなり、今夜その旨が申し渡された。なお年貢米皆納が済んだ上で氏族の者へ返し下される内意とのことである。
三日庚辰小雨後晴れ 上巳の佳節、御神事例の如し。御雨表の御祝句、御祝酒下賜等例年の如くである。
五日壬午晴れ 御祭の御下行米残銀、今日配分である。一人分入用を引いて予金にて一両一歩二朱と残り四十文を頂戴した。なお後割の轉供銭五百文が若役より相渡された。
八日乙酉晴れ 二百分懸の御講につき三本木へ出役、諸事如何にか相済んだ。今日社中へ植葵を差し出した。
十日丁亥雨 徘徊祭例の如く歳々のこと。
十一日戊子晴れ曇り 新御講勘定例の如し。ただし五会目相済みにつき役中へ賞として金五百疋ずつ下賜され、外に一歩二朱、これまた別段の配当である。節向後の御祭御下行料一石五斗、払石二銀二百十匁替えである。未曾有の高料である。

Third Month (30 days)
2nd day, 己卯, Clear - Regarding the rice fields at Fukanuma-ike Village, Gotanhōnai Nonogami district and other areas under Keisen's jurisdiction, the tenant farmer San no Shingorō failed to pay the winter tax rice from last year, which was improper conduct. Therefore, through Genjirō, a messenger from Takegahana-chō Tōgō, village officials Kakuichi and Gonhei were instructed to confiscate both locations' secondary crop fields. For the unpaid portions, the secondary crops from both fields will be used to pay for the Gotanhōnai area, while the Nonogami portion will be paid by Shingorō's relatives collectively as agreed. Consequently, Shingorō's storehouse has been transferred to the shrine's custody, and this was announced tonight. Furthermore, it is understood that after all tax rice is fully paid, it will be returned to the clan members.
3rd day, 庚辰, Light rain then clear - The auspicious festival of Jōshi (Double Third), divine rituals as usual. Congratulatory poems for rain prayers and ceremonial sake were bestowed as in previous years.
5th day, 壬午, Clear - The remaining silver from the festival ceremonial rice stipend was distributed today. After deducting individual expenses, I received one ryō, one bu, two shu in advance money plus forty mon remaining. Additionally, five hundred mon in rotation service money was distributed by the junior officials.
8th day, 乙酉, Clear - Went on duty to Sanbongi for the 200-portion lecture meeting, and various matters were somehow completed. Today, planted hollyhocks were submitted to the shrine.
10th day, 丁亥, Rain - The Wandering Festival as usual, an annual event.
11th day, 戊子, Clear then cloudy - New lecture meeting accounting as usual. However, since the fifth meeting was completed, five hundred hiki each were bestowed upon the officials as rewards, plus one bu two shu as a separate distribution. The post-festival ceremonial stipend was one koku five to, exchanged for two hundred ten monme of silver. This is an unprecedented high rate.
14th day, 辛卯, Rain - Seo Jibei's adopted son, Keisen's fifth son Chiyozō, age six (actually five), after completing his succession petition to the domain authorities, will be presented to the Satsuma residence for the first time tomorrow the 15th. Therefore, this afternoon at Nakagama ■ki-chō, Karasuma nishi-iri-chō
