昼夜番致し居候處平松殿門前草原ニ年十五才
斗之剃髪之首有之今朝見付之云々誠二希有
成義未曽有之事也尚可尋
廿一日丁酉曇職中謹直入来社中年中御大借に相成御取續
難相成ニ付此度大倹約被相催右掛り被相兼頼之趣也
予留主中承置也○二ノ頭人■歳汁参會ニ付何れも
被相招依之肴料金弐朱送之也
廿二日戊戌陰後属晴二頭人汁参會ニ付経千経紀経啓
千子等朝より参無滞相済也○今日御祭前官位

廿三日己亥晴関東文姫殿御逝去ニ付昨廿二日より廿八日ニ
至七日之間鳴物停止觸有之也○御家門江府御
使保田加賀守一昨廿一日無滞帰着云々
廿四日庚子晴午後雨瀬尾次兵衛昨夜戌刻過■飛吐
血二而死去之旨告来三升斗吐之其儘脈絶息絶云々
残心無申斗然ル處同家死後譲之義ハ門人実子當
時山科住百姓甚左衛門と申仁瀬尾権右衛門与申名前
二而公儀表届相済来有之二付町内并 公儀表跡目
相續之義ハ右権右衛門名前譲受之趣ニ披露致し
千代蔵義ハ屋敷表斗之届取ニ取斗候段手代小兵衛より
申出尤同家中立賣瀬尾主従相談之上治定之趣也
勿論千代蔵社中表未届も不致内分之事故畢竟
薩州表斗之義ニ而相済也且又次兵衛當時借財
方之義ニ付公儀より咎中之事故早速町内より届出

昼夜番をしているところ、平松殿門前の草原に年十五才ばかりの剃髪した首があり、今朝見つけたとのこと。誠に希有なこと、未曽有の事である。なお尋ねるべきである。
二十一日丁酉曇り 職中謹直が入来し、社中年中御大借となり御取り続きが難しくなったので、この度大倹約を催すよう相頼まれた趣旨である。私は留守中に承っておいた。○二の頭人の歳汁参会につき、何れも招かれたので肴料金二朱を送った。
二十二日戊戌陰のち晴れ 二頭人汁参会につき、経千・経紀・経啓・千子等が朝より参加し、滞りなく済んだ。○今日御祭前の官位宣下があった。○御花見御祝いは例年の如くであった。
二十三日己亥晴れ 関東文姫殿御逝去につき、昨二十二日より二十八日に至る七日の間、鳴物停止の触れがあった。○御家門への江府御使保田加賀守は一昨二十一日に滞りなく帰着したとのこと。
二十四日庚子晴れ午後雨 瀬尾次兵衛が昨夜戌の刻過ぎに大量の吐血にて死去した旨告げて来た。三升ばかり吐いてそのまま脈絶え息絶えたとのこと。残念なことは申すばかりではない。しかるところ同家死後の譲りの義は、門人の実子で当時山科住の百姓甚左衛門という仁が瀬尾権右衛門という名前にて公儀表への届けを相済ませて来てあるので、町内並びに公儀表での跡目相続の義は右権右衛門名前で譲り受けた趣旨を披露し、千代蔵の義は屋敷表のみの届けを取り計らった段を手代小兵衛より申し出た。もっとも同家の中立売の瀬尾主従と相談の上で治定した趣旨である。勿論千代蔵は社中表への届けもしておらず内分のことゆえ、畢竟薩州表のみの義にて相済んだ。且つまた次兵衛は当時借財方の義につき公儀より咎め中のことゆえ、早速町内より届け出

24th day, 庚子, Clear, afternoon rain - Word came that Seo Jibei died last night after the Hour of the Dog from massive hematemesis. However, regarding the succession after his death, a disciple who is his actual son, currently a farmer in Yamashina named Jinzaemon, had already completed the official registration under the name Seo Gonemon, so the neighborhood and official succession was announced as being transferred under the name of said Gonemon. For Chiyozō's matter, clerk Kohei reported that only the residential registration was handled. This was naturally decided after consultation with the Seo master and retainer of Nakadachiuri.
