現代語訳

儀同兼賢様の御子であり、
光通様の御叔父との御続柄がある段について覚書が添付された。
　　但し京都においても九月六日に中納言殿から伝奏まで御願書が差し出された。
　　一　当夏、御使者永見治部右衛門を京都へ遣わし、御縁組の儀を御内密にて
　　　　話し合われた。

一　九月四日、重陽の御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御小袖を献上された。
　　大納言様へ銀十枚を献上され、御台様へ銀十枚を差し上げ、御簾中様（将軍継嗣の正妻）へ
　　同じく七枚を初めて差し上げられた。

一　同月五日
　　吉邦様が御着城された。

一　同月十五日夜四つ半時、地震につき御機嫌を御伺いするため、即刻御用番稲葉
　　丹後守正通殿並びに小笠原佐渡守長重殿へ御勤めされた。

一　同月二十一日
　　吉邦様御着城につき、御在国中の通り下馬御門を開いておくべき旨が
　　仰せ出された。

一　十月二十三日御登城の節、御城内で御杖を御用いになりたいにつき、大目付
　　横田備中守由松殿まで御内密に御聞き合わせのため、御留守居松原善左衛門矩成
　　を以て左の通り仰せ遣わされた。

being a child of Gidō Kenken-sama and
having familial connection as an uncle to Mitsumichi-sama, a memorandum was attached regarding this relationship.
　　However, in Kyoto as well, on September 6th, a petition was submitted from the Chūnagon to the court messenger (densō).
　　1. This summer, envoy Nagami Jibu-uemon was sent to Kyoto to discuss the marriage arrangement in confidence.

1. On September 4th, for the Chōyō (Double Ninth Festival) celebration, ceremonial kosode robes were presented through an envoy as usual.
Ten pieces of silver were presented to the Great Counselor, ten pieces of silver were offered to Midaidokoro-sama, and seven pieces were offered for the first time to Misuchū-sama (the legitimate wife of the shogunal heir).

1. On the 5th of the same month
Yoshikuni-sama arrived at his castle.

1. On the 15th of the same month at the fourth half-hour of the night, due to an earthquake, to inquire after their well-being, duties were immediately performed for the duty councilors Inaba Tango-no-kami Masamichi and Ogasawara Sado-no-kami Nagashige.

1. On the 21st of the same month
Due to Yoshikuni-sama's arrival at his castle, it was announced that the Gebagoemon (dismounting gate) should be kept open as during his residence in the domain.

On October 23rd, regarding the castle attendance, as there was a desire to use a walking stick within the castle grounds, for confidential consultation with Chief Inspector Yokota Bitchū-no-kami Yoshimatsu, the following was conveyed through residential representative Matsubara Zensaemon Norinari:
