現代語訳
懐かしい色というわけでもないのに、なぜこの末摘花を袖に触れさせてしまったのだろうか。色の濃い花だと見たけれども、なぜ手に取ってしまったのだろうかと書いてある。花の咎めを、なお何か事情があるのだろうと思いあれこれ考え合わせる。折々の月影などを、いとおしいものでありながらも趣深く思うようになった。
