蟹は駆けつけ来たり お前にこの
「お前が嫉妬深きも 味噌を差し上げ
我が故、また猿殿の ます」
敵と狙われるのも 「俺

"You, get into the wind chime," it appeared, but suddenly becoming an earthworm of about four to five inches, it coils up the wind chime. At that time the crab rushes over:
"That you are jealous is because of me, and that you're targeted as an enemy of Lord Monkey is also unfortunate fate. Long ago, when I struck the parent monkey, it was the same principle. If we keep targeting each other as enemies alternately forever, there will be no end to it." Being impressed by this, the crab commits seppuku - how pitiful it is.
The crab performs seppuku, taking miso from its belly: "Master Saimyo-ji, as a parting gift from me, I offer you this miso."
"I... this fellow's... Ah, please hold a very fine memorial service for him."
"What fine [miso] this is! There is no such delicious thing even in wealthy homes," he boasts intensely.
