一芦峅村姥堂之前に根廻り十三間有之杉御座候名は下女
杉と申伝候此外七八間廻りの杉は多く御座候事
一四十ヶ年以前西尾隼人御奉行にて新川下山用水御普
請之刻舟見野村領之内堀申処海老の石に成候を多く
堀出し申候其跡于今御座候事
一堤谷村領之内山を掘申候処猟船一艘并櫂ほり
だし出し申候事
一天気悪鋪可成時分は高山の岩之間より火ノ玉多く
出申候事
一米道村三郎右衛門と申者三四年以前萱刈に参候処
二十歳許成女壱人白装束にて山の上より駈下り
候て三郎右衛門をことの外しかり荷縄にてしはり其後
行方不知成申候三郎右衛門罷帰縄を解候て後煩

現代語訳
一、芦峅村の姥堂の前に、根回り十三間ある杉がございます。名は下女杉と申し伝えられております。このほか七、八間回りの杉は多くございます。
一、四十ヶ年以前、西尾隼人が御奉行にて新川下山用水を御普請の刻、舟見野村領内を掘ったところ、海老が石になったものを多く掘り出しました。その跡は今もございます。
一、堤谷村領内の山を掘ったところ、猟船一艘並びに櫂を掘り出しました。
一、天気が悪くなりそうな時分は、高山の岩の間より火の玉が多く出ます。
一、米道村の三郎右衛門という者が三、四年以前に萱刈りに参ったところ、二十歳ばかりの女が一人、白装束にて山の上より駆け下り、三郎右衛門をひどく叱り、荷縄にて縛りました。その後行方不明になりました。三郎右衛門は帰って縄を解いた後に病み付き、一、二年過ぎて相果てました。
一、愛本より八、九里奥に緑青がございます。
羽咋郡
一、生神村では一在所の女が出産する際、産婆が入らず自身で生みます。翌日より野仕事をします。この所の水を産婦に飲ませれば、お産が軽くございます。
一、大福寺山へ毎年八月十七日夜に龍灯が上ります。
一、福神村の脇に八幡という所に矢根石がございます。
能登郡
一、田鶴浜の牛ヶ端という所に観音堂がございます。年により龍灯が上ります。

Hakui District
