尤程よく差へし蚕尻は前のことく二日置に替也
一庭の休起候はゝ一度切桑を喰せ夫ゟ枝桑にてよし
是ゟ蚕尻は日〳〵替る也 庭（には）の起 揃（そろ）ひて三日目
ゟ愈（いよ〳〵）桑を多分に喰す此時ゟは陽気に応して
四方の戸 樟子（せうじ）を取払ふべし別て五日め六日めは
桑を 沢山（たくさん）に喰すへし此時は何程あたへても喰ふ
もの也庭の起八日目九日目位ゟ蚕追々 水（すい）
晶（せう）の如く透（すき）通り蟄（すが）くなり此時外の器の中へ
栂（とが）の枯枝（かれゑだ）或はつゝじの木抔枝多きものを
ならべ其中へ透（すき）し蚕を入て其上え藁（わら）を薄く
ならべ高き棚へ操（くり）あげて置へし夫ゟ五六日
も過候はゝ繭（まい）をかきとる也直に器え入て風に当
て七八日過は日向え出し干（ほし）へし此時雨天ならば
焙炉（ほいろ）にかけて然るへし
現代語訳
もっとも程よく差し替えた蚕の敷物は前のごとく二日置きに替えるのである。
一、庭の休眠から起きた場合は一度切り桑を食べさせ、それから枝桑でよい。これより蚕の敷物は毎日替えるのである。庭の起きが揃って三日目からいよいよ桑を多分に食べる。この時からは陽気に応じて四方の戸、障子を取り払うべきである。特に五日目、六日目は桑をたくさん食べさせるべきである。この時は何ほど与えても食べるものである。庭の起き八日目、九日目頃から蚕は次々と水晶のように透き通り、痩せくなる。この時外の器の中へ栂の枯枝或いはつつじの木など枝の多いものを並べ、その中へ透けた蚕を入れて、その上へ藁を薄く並べ、高い棚へ繰り上げて置くべきである。それから五、六日も過ぎたならば繭をかき取るのである。直に器へ入れて風に当て、七、八日過ぎたら日向へ出し干すべきである。この時雨天ならば焙炉にかけて然るべきである。
