応祖は各々馬を貢ぎ、鈔及び永楽銭を賜った。十二年、王は使者を遣わして元旦を賀し、三吾良亹を遣わして馬及び方物を貢ぎ、鈔幣を賜った。皇太子は琉球生益智毎等二人に羅布衣各一襲及び襴衫靴襪衾褥帷帳を賜い、従人も皆賜り物があった。成祖は鄔同志久等三人に衣鈔を賜った。十三年、成祖は行人陳季芳(一説では陳若)等を遣わして詔を齎し、山南王汪応祖の世子他魯毎を琉球国山南王に封じた。この時応祖はその兄達勃期によって弑された。各寨官は合兵して達勃期を誅し、他魯毎を推して国事を摂らせた。他魯毎は表して襲封を請うたので、使者を遣わして往き、并せて誥命冠服及び鈔一万五千錠を賜った。王及び山北王攀安知も俱に各々使者を遣わして方物を貢いだ。王世子尚巴志もまた使者宜是結制を遣わして馬及び方物を貢ぎ、文綺三十表裏を賜った。十四年、王は三吾良亹を遣わして馬及び方物を貢いだ。已にまた使者を遣わして馬を貢ぎ、山南王他魯毎もまた使者を遣わして来貢し、襲封の恩を謝した。十五年、王及び山南王他魯毎は俱に使者を遣わして貢ぎ、賜賚は甚だ厚かった。已にまた世子尚巴志と各々使者を遣わして馬を貢いだ。十六年、王は両度使者を遣わして方物を貢ぎ、成祖は使者に冠帯鈔幣を差等をもって賜った。十七年、王は三度使者を遣わして馬及び方物を貢いだ。二十年、王は使者を遣わして元旦を賀し、已にまた遣わして方物を貢いだ。二十一年、世子尚巴志は使者を遣わして表を奉じて方物を貢ぎ、皇太子は礼部に命じてこれを宴労した。二十二年二月、王の訃報が

Ōso each tributed horses and were bestowed paper money and Yongle coins. In the twelfth year, the king sent envoys to congratulate New Year's Day, sent Sagōrō-bi to tribute horses and local products, and was bestowed paper money and silk. The Crown Prince bestowed upon two Ryūkyū students, Ekichimē and others, one set each of silk gauze robes, as well as formal robes, boots, socks, quilts, mats, curtains and canopies; all attendants also received gifts. Emperor Chengzu bestowed clothing and paper money upon U Dōshikyū and two others. In the thirteenth year, Emperor Chengzu sent Court Gentleman Chen Jifang (alternatively Chen Ruo) and others bearing an edict to invest Tarumē, heir apparent of Sannan King Ō Ōso, as King of Sannan of the Ryūkyū Kingdom. At this time, Ōso had been assassinated by his elder brother Tatsuboki. The various fortress officials joined forces to execute Tatsuboki and elevated Tarumē to manage state affairs. Tarumē memorialized requesting succession investiture, so [the emperor] dispatched envoys to go there, and also bestowed imperial mandate, official cap and robes, and 15,000 ingots of paper money. The king and Hanan King Han Anchi both sent envoys to tribute local products. Crown Prince Shō Hashi also sent envoy Gishiketsuse to tribute horses and local products, and was bestowed thirty bolts of patterned silk. In the fourteenth year, the king sent Sagōrō-bi to tribute horses and local products. Subsequently he again sent envoys to tribute horses, and Sannan King Tarumē also sent envoys to present tribute and express gratitude for the grace of succession investiture. In the fifteenth year, the king and Sannan King Tarumē both sent envoys to present tribute, and the imperial gifts were extremely generous. Subsequently, he and Crown Prince Shō Hashi each sent envoys to tribute horses. In the sixteenth year, the king twice sent envoys to tribute local products, and Emperor Chengzu bestowed official caps, sashes, paper money and silk upon the envoys according to their ranks. In the seventeenth year, the king thrice sent envoys to tribute horses and local products. In the twentieth year, the king sent envoys to congratulate New Year's Day, and subsequently again sent [envoys] to tribute local products. In the twenty-first year, Crown Prince Shō Hashi sent envoys to present a memorial and tribute local products, and the Crown Prince ordered the Ministry of Rites to host a banquet in their honor.
