蒸剤は薬気が消散しにくく、発散強壮の効果がある。また邪毒が胃府に着いて吐噦が止まない者には、必ず胃脘を蒸すべきである。その方剤は
揮発蒸剤（翼歇郎突方） 主治：嘔吐・吃逆・気急・咳嗽
葡萄酒（百二十銭） 芳香草（アロマチセコロイト）（揮発芬芳の性質を有するもの二握）
右を四五沸煮て熱いうちに患処に置く。冷めたら更新する。衰弱した人は距里下肢を蒸すのがよい。
第六章 灌腸の効験
邪が腸襞に着いて、転輸の機能がほとんど廃れ、内服が無効な者には、薬液を腸に灌いで捷径の利を取るに如くはない。そもそも人身の稟受は同じでなく、顔のようなもので、一例をもって論じることはできない。大体において胃化が振るわない者にこれを用いれば、功は内薬の右に出る。西哲の歴験は諸書に見えており、固より余の弁を俟たない。今三方を掲げて各々主能を分け、以て学者に示すこと左の如し。一に曰く閉止方で、よく瀉泄を止める。二に曰く刺発方で、よく沈固を撥つ。三に曰く滑泄方で、よく秘閉を導く。
閉止灌腸方（同上） 主治：下利が止まない者
麺粉煮汁（三四コップ） 阿片（一釐六毛或いは三釐二毛強）
右二味を相得て寒暖に適し、水銃を以て肛内に灌く。二三盞を日に三四次。薬液が泄出しないのを佳とする。
刺発灌腸方（同上） 主治：五体痿弱、楯衣摸牀、或いは下利

Steaming agents have medicinal vapors that do not easily dissipate, and have the effects of dispersion and strengthening. Also, when pathogenic toxins lodge in the stomach府 causing persistent vomiting and retching, one must steam the gastric cavity. The formula is:
Volatile Steaming Agent (Yixielang Formula) Main treatment: vomiting, hiccups, shortness of breath, cough
Grape wine (120 sen) Aromatic herbs (Aromatisecoloit) (two handfuls of those having volatile aromatic properties)
Boil these four or five times and place on the affected area while hot. Replace when it cools. For weakened people, it is good to steam the lower limbs at a distance.
Chapter Six: Efficacy of Enemas
When pathogenic factors lodge in the intestinal folds and the mechanism of transportation is nearly abolished, and internal medication is ineffective, nothing is better than irrigating medicinal liquid into the intestines to obtain the benefit of a direct route. Generally speaking, people's constitutional endowments are not the same, like their faces, and cannot be discussed with one example. Generally, when used for those whose gastric transformation is not vigorous, the merit surpasses that of internal medicines. The historical experiences of Western philosophers are seen in various books and certainly do not await my explanation. Now I present three formulas, each divided by main function, to show to scholars as follows: First is the "stopping formula," which can stop diarrhea. Second is the "stimulating formula," which can rouse what is sunken and固. Third is the "lubricating formula," which can guide constipation.
Stopping Enema Formula (same as above) Main treatment: persistent diarrhea
Flour decoction (3-4 cups) Opium (1 rin 6 mo or 3 rin 2 mo strong)
Mix these two ingredients to appropriate temperature and irrigate into the anus with a water syringe. 2-3 cups, 3-4 times daily. It is best when the medicinal liquid does not leak out.
Stimulating Enema Formula (same as above) Main treatment: weakness of the five body parts, lying in bed touching clothes, or diarrhea
