川という。源を福地又山より発し、数十の渓水を合わせ、東流して安波村に至り海に入る。長さは二里七町十二間ある。
ヤカビ川は大宜味間切屋嘉比村の渓間より発源し、浜村に至り海に注ぐ。
石橋川は源をアナマタ山より発し、大謝川はオホクビリ山に発源し、共に奥間村の鏡池湊に流れ込む。
鏡池湊は本間切第一の良港である。
物産は番薯、木材などである。
久志間切は十九箇村がある。東は海に面し、南は金武間切に境界を接し、西北は連山をもって名護・羽地・大宜味・国頭の四間切と斜めに接している。地勢は南北に伸びて東西に縮まっている。那覇から約十八里二十三町の距離である。
久志岳・辺野古岳は、大宜味・名護・羽地の三間切の境界にそびえ立ち、マテラ山は金武間切の境界にそびえている。皆高く険しい。
海浜は岬と湾が出入りし、南に辺野古岬があり、北に安部の岬角がある。その間に一大湾をなしている。これを大浦湊とする。湾口の底が浅くて、船舶の出入りに便利ではない。その他にも湾港は多いが、皆狭小で、舟を係留するのに適している

River. Its source originates from Mount Fukuchi-mata, converging dozens of stream waters, flowing eastward to reach Aha Village and entering the sea. It has a length of two ri, seven chō, and twelve ken.
The Yakabi River originates from the ravines of Yakabi Village in Ōgimi magiri and flows to Hama Village where it empties into the sea.
Ishibashi River has its source in Mount Anamata, and Ōsha River originates in Mount Ōhokubiri; both flow into Kyōchi-ike Port in Okuma Village.
Kyōchi-ike Port is the finest harbor in this magiri.
The products are sweet potatoes, timber, etc.
Kushi magiri has nineteen villages. To the east it faces the sea, to the south it borders Kin magiri, and to the northwest it obliquely connects with the four magiri of Nago, Haneji, Ōgimi, and Kunigami through mountain ranges. The topography extends north-south and contracts east-west. It is about eighteen ri and twenty-three chō from Naha.
Mount Kushi and Mount Henoko tower at the border of the three magiri of Ōgimi, Nago, and Haneji, while Mount Matera rises at the border with Kin magiri. All are lofty and steep.
The coastline has capes and bays extending in and out, with Cape Henoko to the south and Cape Abe to the north. Between them forms one great bay, which is called Ōura Port. The bay entrance has a shallow bottom, making it inconvenient for ships to enter and exit. Although there are many other bays and harbors, they are all small and narrow, suitable for mooring boats
