府中の市中で十七歳になる娘による敵討ちがあったとのこと。越後の者との由。敵は髪結いをしていたとのこと。
金子武四郎は江戸定府となっていたところ、見付という画家のところへ年始の挨拶に内弟子一人を供として連れて参ったところ、画家の程斎という者が居合わせ、酒となり、酒に酔った上で程斎が種々悪言を申したということで、金子の弟子が程斎を打ち殺して出奔したところ、金子は公辺へ呼び出された上で入牢したとのこと。

There was a vendetta carried out by a seventeen-year-old girl in the market area of Fuchū. She was said to be from Echigo Province. The enemy was said to be working as a hairdresser.
Kaneko Bushirō was serving permanent duty in Edo when he went to make New Year's greetings at the place of an artist named Mitsuke, bringing along one apprentice as an attendant. There, an artist named Teisai happened to be present, and they began drinking. While intoxicated, Teisai spoke various abusive words, whereupon Kaneko's disciple killed Teisai and fled. Kaneko was summoned by the authorities and imprisoned.
