三日 宵より雨が降り冷気でした。七つ過ぎより雨が止み、しけ模様になりました。
四日 朝七つ時より雨が降り出し、冷気でした。七つ時より止みました。
八月二十五日夜四つ時より東南（辰巳）の風が強く始まり、雷鳴が追々大風となって石瓦を飛ばし、大木が倒れ、堂宮が崩れ、大津波で海辺は床上四、五尺ほど水が乗り、家を流し、死人数知れず。佃島、堀江、猫実、潟田が残らず流されました。芝大門辺り五、六町が焼け、高輪、芝、築地、鉄砲洲へ沖の舟が上がりました。佃島では大舟数艘が破船し、永代橋の中程が落ち、築地のお堂が潰れ、死人が多く出ました。深川、洲崎、三十三間堂、木場辺りは高潮で損失が多く、御船蔵四、五か所が潰れました。品川沖の御台場の建家は高輪より見えず、隅田川通りの川岸のお屋敷や町家共に潰れ、家の損失が多く、浅草寺の諸堂が損し、奥山の大木数本が倒れました。下谷、坂本、根岸、上野、谷中辺りは大損し、本郷、小石川、牛込、四ツ谷、麹町、赤坂、市ケ谷辺りは大風により
