二十一本、御仮長屋が倒れた所もあり、私の住居については垣根や家の屋根が残らず吹き散らされ、雨中に父子で立ち明かしました。誠に難渋いたしました。御中奥御本間の上家が倒れ、百五十坪程、実にいずれも御大破で恐れ入る儀と存じます。御屋敷御囲いについては、表御門より春日町通りを折り回し、金田御門より入角御門、牛天神下より御舟入通まで残らず二十六日一日で御出来になりました。誠に手際よく手回しいたしました。
一、これは安政三年辰八月二十五日夜五つ半時より辰巳風が甚だしく、先ず日本橋南の方は品川宿が大半損し、南品川は残らず流され死町となり、出水で津波のように残らず流れました。沖にある大船五十艘程が行方不明となり、御台場は少々損じました。それより芝浦もまた津波のように大半損し、高縄辺りは申すに及ばず、三田辺り、田町辺りが大いに損し、薩摩様の銅造の大船が芝浦へ打ち上げられました。金杉橋辺り、新網町海手通りは残らず大船十艘程が打ち上げられました。出火の場所は片門前壱町目より神明前まで残らず、神明町片側で止まりました。大久保様守様、新銭座は大半損し、大小の船数
