現代語訳
築地御門跡の御堂がこわれ、汐留橋は半分落ち、鉄砲が飛んだ。汐留の大材木で吹き上げられた家が多くこわれた。
江戸中の火の見やぐらなどが残らずこわれ、怪我人が数多くあったとのこと。
七日 朝から至極快晴、寒い。昼頃からむら雲が出る。
八日 朝は至極快晴、昼過ぎからむら雲が出る。
九日 明け方五ツ半時（午前9時頃）から雨が降り出し、終日雨が強い。冷気あり。夜中の雨は殊の外強い。
十日 明け方から雨が晴れ快晴、暖気なり。殊の外暑く、単衣物や単羽織を着用した。夕方から曇り、夜五ツ時（午後8時頃）に雨が降り、雷鳴あり。四ツ過ぎ（午後11時頃）に止む。
十一日 朝はむら雲、空の模様が難しい。

The temple hall at the former site of Tsukiji Gate was destroyed. Shiodome Bridge half-collapsed, and iron [cannons] flew about. Many houses were destroyed by the large timber blown up at Shiodome.
Throughout Edo, fire watchtowers and the like were completely destroyed without exception, and there were reportedly many injured people.
7th day: Extremely clear from morning, cold. Around noon, scattered clouds appeared.
8th day: Extremely clear in the morning, scattered clouds appeared after midday.
9th day: Rain began falling from dawn at half-past the fifth hour (around 9 AM) and continued heavily all day. Cold air. Rain was exceptionally heavy during the night.
10th day: Rain cleared from dawn, fine weather, warm air. It was exceptionally hot, so single-layer garments and single-layer haori were worn. Cloudy from evening, rain fell at the fifth hour of night (around 8 PM) with thunder. Stopped after the fourth hour (around 11 PM).
11th day: Scattered clouds in the morning, the sky's appearance is troublesome.
