二鳥居前に至って鐙を放って一拝し了り、御所屋西芝の上に来て手綱を取り了って復た着座する《その儀式は左の馬は北東面、右の馬は左の馬の次に南東面で相並び、その後切通を経て南芝の上で復た同前とする。すべて図に見える。この時田口が靴紐を解く《今は略して解かない》この時下馬して御所屋に着座》歯の欠損を見る儀式がある《神主仲間役のその儀式について清足記に云う。御所屋西庭の北より第一第二柱の間である。まず一揖、次に手綱を左方より右肩にかけ両口を引っ張る。次に左右、次に左、次に右、以上三度である。了って一揖して退下し、馬所に牽き入れる》
