Next, the yin-yang master takes the sedge ring《This ring is prepared and advanced by the arrow-sword shrine maiden. It spans four feet with a width of about one inch - there is no fixed method. Since ancient times, rings have been made from sedge grass. Now split bamboo is used to make the ring, hemp leaves are tied at three places, and it is wrapped with straw. The bamboo on the right comes from within the shrine, it is said》. The head priest and below each pass through the ring twice. After this is completed, each person rises from their seat. Next, on top of Nara Bridge, each person takes out the sedge grass effigies and throws them into the water below the bridge《At this time, secret songs are chanted - oral transmission》. Next, the shrine officials and clan members sit at the administrative hall seats for the sacred food communion feast. The items include: one set of chopsticks, one bowl of sacred rice《This is for the outer deity morning offering, placed in triple earthenware vessels, but the three officials arrange it in moon shape》, sacred vegetables《two cuts of ray fish placed in small earthenware vessels》, ■ vinegared fish《two throat fish worth》, fried miscellaneous throat fish《two throat fish worth each placed in small earthenware vessels - the right river magistrate prepares and advances these》, floating herbs (nagi)《about three pieces placed in small earthenware vessels - the Ono minor attendant prepares and advances these》, etc., loaded and stored on top of the food tables. Once seated, the sacred chest offerings are passed through《One bird, one skewer of mackerel, four pieces of ray fish, etc. are placed in the sacred chest. From the offering hall, shrine attendants are made to send to the head priest's residence. To the chief priest: one throat of carp, one bowl of sacred rice, four pieces of ray fish. From the senior shrine maiden to the Kataoka shrine maiden: one skewer of mackerel, four pieces of ray fish each. From the Kataoka shrine maiden to the clan deity priest of a certain shrine's sacred offerings: two portions of communion feast. In addition to the above: fresh sweetfish, miscellaneous throat fish, cucumber, Korean lion-dog offerings, ray fish, etc. for the deputy's communion feast - one piece of ray fish each for the purification abstinence child, deputy, etc. - thirteen pieces total for the sword-bearing shrine maiden, one piece among them for the shrine attendants' communion feast as usual》.
