現代語訳
その様子は、祢宜方は南から、祝方は北から入る。よって祝方は奈良社前を経て北の口から庁屋に入る。ただし神主・正祢宜は板塀の西から、その他の祢宜は板塀の南に回って庁屋に入る。神主は中央、正祢宜は右、正祝は左に各々東面する。また祢宜方は西上で北面して一列に、祝方は西上で南向きに一列に並ぶ。精進頭人は祢宜方氏神祢宜の次の座に、転供は祝方の次の座に各々着座する。
社司が神前から退下した後、別当大夫が歯固を撤する。
その儀式は初めの如く、階下の運送、膳部役がすべて撤し了える。夕御料を撤却する節は辛櫃の上に載せ、贄殿に撤する。右は神主（か）がすべて直会である。よって供御所で舟に入れて神主亭に持参する。もっとも膳部《付記：浄衣》が相添う《付記：ただしこの時膳部より扇子二本を片木に載せて神主に送る》。この時神主亭において祝儀の饗応がある。
次に外陣夕御料を備え進める《付記：当番の社司がこれを役とする》。先にこれ日供御辛櫃が西御供所に参進する。
膳部相従の担夫・神人二人が御先を申す。その箇所は三鳥居石橋の間、次に榊下、次に二鳥居、次に橋本社辺、次に日門に入る時である。

The manner is as follows: the negi faction enters from the south, and the celebrant faction from the north. Therefore, the celebrant faction passes in front of Nara shrine and enters the government office through the northern entrance. However, the chief priest and senior negi enter from the west of the board fence, while the other negi circle around to the south of the board fence to enter the government office. The chief priest sits in the center, the senior negi on the right, and the senior celebrant on the left, each facing east. The negi faction sits in a line facing north with west as the superior position, while the celebrant faction sits in a line facing south with west as the superior position. The purification leader sits next to the negi faction's ujigami negi, and the food servers sit next to the celebrant faction, each taking their seats.

The ritual proceeds as initially, with all transportation from the lower steps and kitchen staff duties being completed. When the evening offerings are removed, they are placed on top of the kara-bitsu chest and removed to the offering hall. The right side is all direct meeting for the chief priest (presumably). Therefore, it is placed in boats at the offering place and brought to the chief priest's residence. Particularly, the kitchen staff [Note: in purified garments] accompanies it [Note: However, at this time, two fans are placed on wooden boards by the kitchen staff and sent to the chief priest]. At this time, there is celebratory entertainment at the chief priest's residence.
Next, the outer sanctuary evening offerings are prepared and advanced [Note: The duty shrine administrators on rotation perform this role]. Previously, the daily offering kara-bitsu chests are advanced to the western offering place.
Two attendant porters and shrine servants accompanying the kitchen staff announce the sacred precedence. The locations are: between the third torii and stone bridge, next below the sacred tree, next the second torii, next around Hashimoto shrine, and then when entering the sun gate.
Next, the shrine officials advance to the earthen platform [Note: Previously they were seated at the senior negi seat. At this time there is guidance from the kitchen staff].
