現代語訳

その様子は、祢宜方は南から、祝方は北から入る。よって祝方は奈良社前を経て北の口から庁屋に入る。ただし神主・正祢宜は板塀の西から、その他の祢宜は板塀の南に回って庁屋に入る。神主は中央、正祢宜は右、正祝は左に各々東面する。また祢宜方は西上で北面して一列に、祝方は西上で南向きに一列に並ぶ。精進頭人は祢宜方氏神祢宜の次の座に、転供は祝方の次の座に各々着座する。 社司が神前から退下した後、別当大夫が歯固を撤する。 その儀式は初めの如く、階下の運送、膳部役がすべて撤し了える。夕御料を撤却する節は辛櫃の上に載せ、贄殿に撤する。右は神主(か)がすべて直会である。よって供御所で舟に入れて神主亭に持参する。もっとも膳部《付記:浄衣》が相添う《付記:ただしこの時膳部より扇子二本を片木に載せて神主に送る》。この時神主亭において祝儀の饗応がある。 次に外陣夕御料を備え進める《付記:当番の社司がこれを役とする》。先にこれ日供御辛櫃が西御供所に参進する。 膳部相従の担夫・神人二人が御先を申す。その箇所は三鳥居石橋の間、次に榊下、次に二鳥居、次に橋本社辺、次に日門に入る時である。 次に祠官が土居に進む《付記:先にこれ正祢宜座に着く。この時膳部より案内がある》。一拝する《付記:裾を操ること初めの如し》。次に大床において一拝する《付記:座したまま》。次に左右御台盤を大床に直く《付記:先に祢宜方、後に祝方。ただし上役が土居に進んで一拝了った後に直く》。次に転供五人の当番の輩がこれを役とする。ただし故障・欠員等がある時は四人或いは三人である。もっとも内一人が上役を勤め、残りの輩は寸辺利板以下の儀で転進する。もっとも転進の様は内陣神供の如く、権殿正中において請け渡しの儀である。正中を持ち過ごさないことが肝要である《付記:云々》。 預大夫が参進する《付記:もっとも膳部より案内がある》。次に左右御八足を進める。 もっとも御帊がある。先に祢宜方、後に祝方。もっとも上役が土居に進んで一拝した後、以下の転供がこれを請け取り、昇階して祠官に渡す。以下同前。

英語訳

The manner is as follows: the negi faction enters from the south, and the celebrant faction from the north. Therefore, the celebrant faction passes in front of Nara shrine and enters the government office through the northern entrance. However, the chief priest and senior negi enter from the west of the board fence, while the other negi circle around to the south of the board fence to enter the government office. The chief priest sits in the center, the senior negi on the right, and the senior celebrant on the left, each facing east. The negi faction sits in a line facing north with west as the superior position, while the celebrant faction sits in a line facing south with west as the superior position.
