切芝之上祢宜祝相別着座  祢宜方西座北上東向祝方東座北上西面尤下裾但於両儀者御所屋 有答礼之儀  季通神事次第四方拝トアリ如何兄之年者祝方第之年ハ自祢宜  始之各一列ニ二拝充但一方拝之時者乍座一揖 了大田社巡拝《割書:路頭印鑰|社遥拝》退下 神供撤分如初別当請取之入于御櫃令刀祢運送手贄殿配分之直会令 通于祠官之座  但右之内コカキ雑喉根深 (大根歟)瓜茄子積御料上置之海老狛御料等別  当直会之大鯉代雉子者神主直会仍於西御供所神主之仲間請  取之御酒餢飳之上置褁御料上置之串柿柑子并積御料之内鰩  弐枚等預大夫直会也且又積御料之内鰩二枚充忌子目代但忌  子目代ハ小目代請取之持参刀祢廿一人十三枚但上江五枚下八枚右上  五人者不闕参勤也八社附之刀祢毎神事一人充相替参勤也依  之鰩等直会モ如此《割書:云| 々》神人江弐枚内一枚ハ番之神人二人之内神主  亭江御櫃神供依持参遣之残一枚ハ毎神事カヒゲノミト称強飯  少計別当江持参仍遣之但諸御料之時計ニテ片御料之時ハ無其  儀《割書:云| 々》御退之餢飳椎葉餅一充自預大夫送于楽人 (人別歟)別ニ如此  尤載于片木一枚但元日失念之時ハ七日十五日之内遣之

現代語訳

切芝の上で祢宜・祝が相別れて着座する。 祢宜方は西座で北上東向き、祝方は東座で北上西面である。最も下裾であるが、両儀においては御所屋で答礼の儀がある。 季通神事次第に四方拝とあるが如何であろうか。兄の年は祝方が第一で、祝の年は祢宜より始める。各々一列に二拝ずつ行う。ただし一方拝の時は座したまま一揖する。 終了後、大田社巡拝《付記:路頭印鑰、社遥拝》して退下する。 神供を撤して分けること初めの如く、別当が請け取ってこれを御櫃に入れ、刀祢に運送させて贄殿で配分し、直会を祠官の座に通す。 ただし右の内、コカキ・雑喉・根深(大根か)・瓜・茄子の積御料の上に置くもの、海老・狛御料等は別当直会である。大鯉の代わりの雉子は神主直会であるため、西御供所において神主の仲間が請け取る。 御酒・餢飳の上に置く褁御料、上に置く串柿・柑子、並びに積御料の内の鰩二枚等は預大夫直会である。また積御料の内の鰩二枚ずつは忌子・目代のものである。ただし忌子・目代のものは小目代が請け取って持参する。刀祢二十一人に十三枚、ただし上に五枚、下に八枚。右の上五人は欠けることなく参勤するが、八社に附く刀祢は毎神事一人ずつ交代で参勤する。これにより鰩等の直会もこの通りである《付記:云々》。神人には二枚の内一枚は番の神人二人の内、神主亭に御櫃の神供を持参することに依って遣わし、残り一枚は毎神事「カヒゲノミ」と称して強飯を少し計り別当に持参するため遣わす。ただし諸御料の時のみで、片御料の時はその儀はない《付記:云々》。御退の餢飳・椎葉餅一つずつを預大夫より楽人(人別か)に送る。別にこの通りである。最も片木一枚に載せる。ただし元日に失念の時は七日・十五日の内に遣わす。

英語訳

On the cut grass area, the negi (senior priests) and hafuri (junior priests) separate and take their seats. The negi side sits in the western seats facing east with northern precedence, while the hafuri side sits in the eastern seats facing west with northern precedence. This is the lowest level, but for both ceremonies there is a formal response ceremony at the imperial residence. The Seasonal Sacred Ceremony Procedures mention "four-direction worship" - what does this refer to? In the elder brother's year, the hafuri side goes first; in the hafuri's year, it begins with the negi. Each performs two bows in a single line. However, during one-direction worship, they perform one bow while remaining seated. After completion, they make a pilgrimage to Ōta Shrine {{Note: processional seal and key, distant shrine worship}} and withdraw. The divine offerings are removed and distributed as initially done. The deputy administrator receives them, places them in sacred chests, has the tone officials transport them, distributes them at the offering hall, and passes the direct meeting [feast] to the seats of the shrine officials. However, among the above items, kokaki, zakko, neduka (possibly daikon radish), melons, eggplants placed on top of the layered imperial offerings, shrimp, and koma imperial offerings, etc., are for the deputy administrator's direct meeting. The pheasant substituting for large carp is for the head priest's direct meeting, so the head priest's associates receive it at the Western Imperial Food Office. Sacred sake, tsumi imperial offerings placed on top of hōtō, skewered persimmons and citrus placed on top, and two pieces of ray fish from the layered imperial offerings, etc., are for the assistant senior official's direct meeting. Also, two pieces each of ray fish from the layered imperial offerings go to the purification child and deputy. However, the portions for the purification child and deputy are received and brought by the assistant deputy. For twenty-one tone officials, thirteen pieces - five pieces for the upper [officials] and eight pieces for the lower. The upper five people attend without fail, but the tone officials assigned to the eight shrines alternate attendance, one person per sacred ceremony. Accordingly, the ray fish direct meetings follow this pattern {{Note: etc.}}. For the divine attendants, of the two pieces, one piece goes to one of the two divine attendants on duty who brings the divine offerings in sacred chests to the head priest's residence, and the remaining piece is given because they bring a small amount of takii rice called "kaihigenomi" to the deputy administrator for each sacred ceremony. However, this only applies during comprehensive imperial offerings; there is no such ceremony during partial imperial offerings {{Note: etc.}}. One piece each of hōtō and shiiba-mochi from the imperial withdrawal is sent from the assistant senior official to the musicians (possibly per person). This is done separately in this manner. They are placed on a single wooden board. However, if forgotten on New Year's Day, they are sent within seven or fifteen days.
