元日内陣神供備様 秘訣故別記
先神主祝入于御内陣於御帳台前一拝而直大八足於
御台盤之上
右者朱漆御台 （盤歟）二脚常有于御帳台之前黒漆之大八足者常
有于東南之角《割書：長ヲ｜南北》神主祝一拝之後手舁直于御台盤之上
次巻御簾《割書：八社之祠官拝了之｜後-祝一人巻之》次供神供於大八足
見于図尤丸盤者正祢宜権祢宜持之神供而已執之丸盤者不入于
内陣

現代語訳
元日内陣神供備え様 秘訣故別記
まず神主祝が御内陣に入り、御帳台前において一拝して、大八足を御台盤の上に据える。
右は朱漆御台（盤か）二脚が常に御帳台の前にあり、黒漆の大八足は常に東南の角《注記：長さは｜南北》にある。神主祝が一拝の後、手で舁いて御台盤の上に据える。
次に御簾を巻く《注記：八社の祠官が拝了の｜後-祝一人がこれを巻く》。次に神供を大八足に供える。
図に見る通り、もっとも丸盤は正祢宜権祢宜が持つ神供のみで、これを執る丸盤は内陣には入らない。

New Year's Day Inner Sanctuary Divine Offering Arrangement Secret tradition, therefore recorded separately
First, the head priest (shinshū) and ritual assistant (hafuri) enter the inner sanctuary, make one bow before the sacred curtain stand, and place the large eight-legged stand on the sacred platform.
The above refers to vermillion lacquer sacred platforms (or trays) - two legs constantly present before the sacred curtain stand. The black lacquer large eight-legged stand is constantly at the southeast corner {{Note: length is｜north-south}}. After the head priest and ritual assistant make one bow, they carry it by hand and place it on the sacred platform.
Next, roll up the sacred curtain {{Note: after the shrine officials of the eight shrines finish bowing｜one ritual assistant rolls it up}}. Next, offer the divine offerings on the large eight-legged stand.
As seen in the diagram, especially the round trays are only for divine offerings held by the chief negi and assistant negi priests; the round trays used for these do not enter the inner sanctuary.
