This is brought out. The usue (ritual staffs) are prepared and presented by Yatone. Approximately 170 staffs are handed to the Betto, and after departure, the deputy administrator manages them at the western offering hall. The portions for various shrines are placed and decorated on the sacred shelves and offering shelves. Therefore, those who make voluntary pilgrimages receive blessings after the main shrine's ritual prayers. Next, the Onmyo administrator {{Note: emerges from the shrine grounds}} advances and stands to the east of the jewel bridge and performs purification {{Note: the manner is the same as New Year's Day}}. Next, the usue bearer arrives at the shelves of the east and west offering halls. Next, the Onmyo administrator goes to the east and west corridors and purifies the bodies of the shrine officials. The ritual procedure: after finishing the purification of the usue, they enter the tower gate and middle gate, proceeding from the Chinese door to the transparent corridor. The head priest and below, the negi side, finish purifying their bodies and descend the Chinese door, entering the ritual assistant corridor from Wakamiya worship hall. The head ritual assistant and below purify their bodies. Especially while standing {{Note: at that time the scepter is in the chest}}. At that time, the shrine officials finish holding the scepter and withdraw {{Note: enter the shrine grounds}} Next, the deputy administrator hands the sacred key to the head ritual assistant. Next, the ritual assistant rises from his seat and ascends to open the sacred door on the great platform {{Note: advancing, retreating, bowing and saluting are the same as New Year's Day, so abbreviated}}. At that time, each moves from their seat and prostrates. Next, the head priest and ritual assistant stand side by side below and above the stairs, make one bow and enter the inner sanctuary. Next, from the negi side (or ritual assistant side?) to the deputy shrine administrator. In order, they rise from their seats at the stairs {{strikethrough: above|below}} stairs {{strikethrough: below|above}}, make one bow and divide left and right, waiting above and below the stairs. Next, they roll up the sacred curtain. Next, they announce the preliminary ritual. From the negi side, they present the usue {{Note: place a pair on small round seats, loaded on round trays. However, when removing these round trays, the Shingu negi takes them.|They narrow them between the railings. The ritual assistant side serves the role of Takifune {{furigana: negi|or ritual assistant}}. However, the usue offering is the role of the betto administrator}}. Next, from the ritual assistant side they present usue {{Note: same as the negi side}}. Next, from the deputy shrine administrator in order, they advance and stand side by side below the stairs, make one bow and return to their seats. During this time, the betto administrator prepares usue {{Note: place a pair on small round seats|loaded on round trays}} at the temporary hall The manner: first advance to the earthen platform and make one bow, ascend the great platform and make one bow. The negi side places one sacred stand directly on the great platform, makes one bow, descends the stairs and makes one bow, arrives at the western offering hall shelf, holds up the usue and advances to the great platform, prepares them on top of the sacred stand, makes one bow, descends to the earthen platform, makes one bow and withdraws.
