初献《注記：ただし書番の人である》。五郷が次第に流れ巡り、岡本郷から預大夫へ転じ、それから年老の人へ転じる。《注記：この時、五郷田所書番と預大夫以上の六人は銚子を加えて献の儀を行う。その他は撒加する》次第に流れ巡って撤する《注記：献の儀を終えて膳を撤し、柑子一つと昆布一切を小角に載せ、人別に居て出茶する》。
次に納所方三人が勝手に退き、目代一人が出席して披露の儀がある。
その儀は、矢刀称江申付品ならびに返抄紙吟味のことである。この返抄紙は一束二帖を片木に載せる。筆七対、墨二挺もこれまた片木に載せて目代が持ち出し、吟味すべき旨を披露する。この品は十番の札である。前日にその手の若役が白顕亭に持参し、今日郷方が各々一覧の上、別条無い時は、目代が勝手において支配し、浄衣を着させた人、郷方五人、目代等に渡す。もちろん片木に載せて、河上郷・大宮郷へ料紙二帖、筆一対ずつ。小山郷へ料紙一帖半、筆一対。中村郷へ料紙二帖十枚、筆一対。岡本郷へ料紙一帖半、筆一対。目代等へ料紙二帖、筆二対、龍形墨二挺を美濃紙一枚で包み、
紙捻で結ぶ。この外に料紙半紙帖を帳紙料牒改として郷方へ渡す。合わせて十一帖三十四枚を要する《注記：ただし一帖は四十八枚で作る》。
次に五郷田所書番の人が吉書の儀を行う。
その儀は、まず料紙を四つ切りにして一箇所を鍼角し、吉書を認める。その案は奥を見よ。もちろん硯・墨はあらかじめ白顕亭に二箱ほど用意しておく。これを認め終わって返抄に書判を加える。その儀もまた浄衣を着た人が片木に載せて五郷次第に持参する時、書番の人がこれを執って書判を加える。この儀を五郷とも同前に済ませた後、各々懐中する。この外、非番の輩五人、預大夫等は役儀無し。ただし書番の人は小刀を用意すべきである。
事了して祝儀を述べ、各々退出する。

The five villages proceed in order, passing from Okamoto Village to the deputy administrator, then transferring to the elderly person {{Note: at this time, the six people including the five village rice field supervisors, record keeper, and deputy administrator and above perform the offering ceremony with sake vessels added. This ceremony involves the items entrusted to Yadō Shōshō-e and the examination of return draft papers. These return draft papers consist of one bundle of two booklets placed on wooden boards. Seven pairs of brushes and two ink sticks are also placed on wooden boards, which the administrator brings out and announces should be examined. These items are the tenth-numbered tags. The previous day, junior officials of that group brought them to Hakuken Pavilion, and today each village group examines them. When there are no particular issues, the administrator manages them in the preparation area and distributes them to people wearing purified garments - five people from the village groups and the administrators. Of course, they are placed on wooden boards: to Kawakami Village and Omiya Village, two booklets of paper and one pair of brushes each; to Koyama Village, one and a half booklets of paper and one pair of brushes; to Nakamura Village, two booklets and ten sheets of paper and one pair of brushes; to Okamoto Village, one and a half booklets of paper and one pair of brushes; to the administrators, two booklets of paper, two pairs of brushes, and two dragon-shaped ink sticks wrapped in one sheet of Mino paper,
tied with twisted paper cord. In addition to this, half-sheet booklets of paper are distributed to the village groups as revised accounting paper materials. In total, eleven booklets and thirty-four sheets are required {{Note: however, one booklet contains forty-eight sheets}}.
Next, the people serving as record keepers for the five village rice field supervisors perform the auspicious writing ceremony.
In this ceremony, they first cut the paper into quarters, bind one corner with a needle, and write the auspicious text. For the draft, see the appendix. Of course, inkstones and ink are prepared in advance - about two boxes at Hakuken Pavilion. After completing this writing, they add their seal to the return draft. In this ceremony as well, people wearing purified garments carry the items on wooden boards to each of the five villages in order, and the record keeper takes them and adds their seal. After completing this ceremony for all five villages in the same manner, each person keeps their copy. Apart from this, the five people not on duty and the deputy administrators have no ceremonial duties. However, the record keeper should prepare a small sword.
After the matters are concluded, celebratory words are spoken, and everyone withdraws.
