英語訳
The ritual prayer states: "Respectfully and fearfully before this great deity's sacred presence, we humbly submit. Tonight we reverently prepare {{Note: each purification leader takes charge}} the sacred shelf offerings of the five villages. May you illuminate them in your divine heart and may heaven and earth endure eternally,
and may you protect and grant peace to both court and military government. We humbly and fearfully pray." {{Note: twice}} Concluded.
Two bows {{Note: as before}} Both officials rise and present offerings to the left and right sides of the portable shrines {{Note: however, nowadays it is quite improper for both officials to directly place the ritual offerings, etc.}} One bow and withdraw,
returning to seats in the worship hall. Next, the offering bearers proceed to the sacred area, and both officials remove the ritual offerings they had prepared {{Note: at this time they roll them up}} and place them in the portable shrines, then remove the portable
shrines {{Note: the sword attendants and offering bearers perform this duty. However, regarding the withdrawal of these sacred offerings, the two officials alternate yearly in overseeing the communion feast, so they inquire about whose turn it is and have attendants carry them to that person's lodging}} One bow and withdraw, making pilgrimage visits to each shrine along the route.
After the nineteen shrine officials descend and assemble, they take their seats in the administrative building {{Note: however, today the new leader sits at the end seat on the senior priest's side, and the former leader sits at the end seat on the ritual officiant's side}}. The communion feast for the withdrawal of daily offerings {{Note: supervised by sword attendants. However, today there is no announcement of sacred chopsticks, and they sit directly in a row. Although day has broken, a minor official brings and ties them, and lighting one lamp each at the head priest's seat, ritual officiant's seat, and deputy's seat is an ancient practice}}. Next, from the sacred area
the sacred shelves are withdrawn and the legs are carried to the southern courtyard of the administrative building. Next, the deputy takes a seat on the administrative building veranda {{Note: at the western end}} and reads the report {{Note: to the purification leaders}}
{{Note: (one person at a time?) there is first a prostration}} After the deputy's ceremonial duties are completed, the sacred shelf legs are withdrawn and everyone disperses {{Note: of course, three shelf legs are withdrawn to the head priest's residence, and three legs to the deputy's residence}}
During the presentation of ritual offerings, there are no courtyard seats, just like the five officials of the main shrine. Also, placing the ritual offerings leaning against the steps is likewise
the same as at the main shrine. Rain ceremonies are conducted in the worship hall.
Same day, 15th: Attendance at Sacred Rites {{Note: Sawada Shrine ceremony}}
After the sacred shelf assembly and sacred rites of the previous night were completed and upon withdrawal, at the western lawn of the sake hall, shrine attendants {{Note: holding torches}} announce the sacred
visitation, and after each person returns to their lodging for rest {{Note: wearing court dress. However, the appointed time is the hour of the tiger. In recent years it extends until dawn}} each proceeds, entering from the Daily Offering Torii to
the Second Torii {{Note: putting on shoes, one bow}} arriving at Hashimoto Shrine for one bow {{Note: however, this ceremony where the senior priest's group crosses the reed bridge and jade bridge to enter the tower gate is called the proper ritual, etc.}} entering the tower gate and middle gate,
one bow before Tanao Shrine, one bow at the main shrine's temporary hall, etc., then assembling through the side door, and after the twenty-one shrine officials gather
at the shrine grounds, they purify with water, each proceeds to the sacred area for one bow and takes their seat. Next, the Director comes to the corridor {{Note: first the senior priest's group, then the ritual officiant's group}} Sacred
