身体《付記:神供と同様に、まず神主、次に正祢宜祝二十一職が次第に立って陰陽大夫に向かい、身体を清める》。次に片岡・諏訪社等で一揖、次に祢宜方は玉橋を経て楼・中門に入り、棚尾社で一拝、中門に入って唐戸から神前に参着する。
その儀式は、まず唐戸前で下裾・沓揖、次に右足から入って唐戸に昇り、透廊に昇って神前に斜向し一拝、膝行して円座に着き座揖、次に裾を操る《付記:左手(右手か)》、次に安座する。ただし神主は正権殿のすべり板の間、透廊の中央で南面に着座し、正祢宜以下は各々北上東面で一列に着座する。
なお年中御神事以下では円座を設けるのは預の下知により小預が役を務める。
祝方は玉橋を経て正中の時にこれを過ぎて揖、次に諏訪・片岡社等で一揖、渡殿を経て川尾社で一揖、次に新宮御門に入り、まず新宮・藤尾・山尾社等で一揖、次に唐門に入って若宮で一拝、次に若宮拝殿より神前に参着する。

次に忌子が神前東階下の座に着く。
その儀式は直会所から出て祝方へ廻り、東渡殿から神前に進んで一拝して着座する。ただし今は多くの社司が進まず、以前に着座するのである。
