現代語訳
座に就く（自覧間の外）。階下に進んで一拝し、大床に昇って一拝する（猶予あり）。次に神主が起座し（自覧間の内）、階下に進んで敬んで屈み、祝方に控える（御拝柱の下）。次に祝が御戸を閉じる（各々平伏）。次に預が御鎖包を祝に渡す（祢宜方から進んで階に昇る）。祝がこれを執る（この時御鍵を預に渡し、預がこれを執って退下する）。御鎖を裹き了えて一拝し、階を降りて一拝する。次に下臈から祝方へ退下する。次に五官が小廻りして楼門軒下座に着く（西上北面一列）。次に所司・別当が互いに葵八鍍を祠官の冠・巾子に充てる（ただし大田氏神等の祠官は、自余の祠官に頼んで受ける）。次に作所奉行が中門を閉じ、各々平伏する。次に起座して岩本・沢田・奈良社等を巡拝して退下する。

Takes seat (outside the viewing area). Advances to the bottom of the stairs for one bow, ascends to the great floor for one bow (with hesitation). Next, the head priest rises (from within the viewing area), advances to the bottom of the stairs, humbly bows down, and waits at the hafuri side (under the worship pillar). Next, the hafuri closes the sacred doors (each prostrates). Next, the assistant passes the sacred lock wrapping to the hafuri (advancing from the negi side and ascending the stairs). The hafuri takes it (at this time passes the sacred key to the assistant, the assistant takes it and withdraws). After completing the wrapping of the sacred lock, bows once, descends the stairs and bows once. Next, withdraws from the lower ranks to the hafuri side. Next, the five officials make a small circuit and take seats under the eaves of the tower gate (arranged in a single row, westward and facing north). Next, the administrator and superintendent mutually attach eight pieces of hollyhock to the caps and headpieces of the shrine officials (however, shrine officials of Ōta clan deity and others rely on other shrine officials to receive them). Next, the construction supervisor closes the middle gate, and each prostrates. Next, they rise and make pilgrimage rounds to Iwamoto, Sawada, Nara shrines and others, then withdraw.
