上て は（走[朱]）すことはてゝざによる社司のつぎにつくべし
とりのあし社司のまへをとりてまい人に たぶ（ 給[朱]）さかづき下

上って走ることが終わって座に寄る。社司の次に着くべし。
鳥の足を社司の前を取って舞人に給う。酒杯を下げ、
箸を立てて事が終われば各々退出する。以上《割書：ただし横座は西を上とす。社務の座である》
一、正衣の氏人等は長屋に座す。各々の机である。
一、今月の吉日をもって植田の御祭りがある。祝方の沙汰で御扉開きには
素行まいる。巡って沢田の御前にて座がある。石を給わる事がある。また
社務、祝が御田へ参る。苗植え初めを参らせるのである。
一、四月中の午の日は御祭りの禊である。社司の（社司衣冠）
装束はまず（衣冠下括り）。社司、氏人等は朝に正衣にて参る。
社々の御掃除がある。社司は棚尾の御前門の下に座す。
次第に社々を巡って御掃除があるべし。二度の日供が終わって
御掃除の御扉開きである。まず社司に土器の屋に寄ることは
常の如し。その間に御服仕、社務、家子、社司一両

人が御服に着きまいらせて御前に参る。渡殿の東の前に
御服を立てまいらせて社司等が伺候す。御祓いがあるべし。
次に社司等が参って御祓いがある。乱状を奏し、祝が
参りて御戸を開きまいらせる事は常の如し。社務、
祝が御内へ参れば大八足を出しまいらすべし。
次に（少八足を出しまいらせる）。王座に御箒の拭き布を仕える。社務がまず
御箒を取って御帳の中程より奥へ掃きまいらせて
御幕から御簾に至るまで掃きまいらせる。祝に
渡す。掃きまいらせる事は社務に違わず。次に御拭き
布を取って上を拭きまいらせる事は前に同じ。
祝に渡す。また前に同じ。また箒を取って下を掃き
まいらせる。祝方もまた同じ。御殿脇の社司も同じく御戸を掃き
拭きまいらせる事は御内に同じ。御掃除が終われば

the shrine administrator and ritual officiant go to the sacred rice field. They perform the first rice seedling planting.
First, the horse day in the fourth month is the purification ritual for the festival. The shrine priests' (shrine priest court dress)
attire is first (court dress with lower ties). The shrine priests and clan members come in the morning wearing formal dress.
There is cleaning of the various shrines. The shrine priests sit below the front gate of Tanao shrine.
In order, they should circle the shrines and perform cleaning. After the twice-daily offerings end,
it is the sacred door opening for cleaning. First, the shrine priests gathering at the earthenware building is
as usual. During this time, those attending to the sacred garments - the shrine administrator, household members, and one or two shrine priests

attend to the sacred garments and come before the sacred presence. In front of the east side of the connecting hall,
they set up the sacred garments and the shrine priests wait in attendance. There should be purification.
Next, the shrine priests come and there is purification. They present the ritual report, and the ritual officiant
comes and opens the sacred doors as usual. When the shrine administrator and
ritual officiant enter the sacred interior, they should bring out the large eight-legged table.
Next (they bring out the small eight-legged table). They serve wiping cloths for the sacred broom at the royal seat. The shrine administrator first
takes the sacred broom and sweeps from the middle of the sacred curtained area toward the back,
sweeping from the curtains to the bamboo blinds. Handing it to the ritual officiant,
the sweeping is done the same as by the shrine administrator. Next, taking the wiping
cloth, the wiping of the upper areas is the same as before.
Handing it to the ritual officiant, it is again the same as before. Also taking the broom, they sweep
the lower areas. The ritual officiant's side does the same. The shrine priests at the side of the sacred hall likewise sweep the sacred doors and
