一 西龍寺の件について、近頃下川があった分の分一免除について一昨年御沙汰の趣旨を伺ったところ、右の寺の件は非常に大きな間寺であり、その上大きな困難により再建の件もあり、格別の思召しをもって西龍寺に限り運上免除を下されることとなった。定法外のこととして心得申し上げる。今後他への前例とはならないため、そのように心得申すべきと申し聞かされた

Regarding the matter of Sairyuji Temple, concerning the recent lower river incident and bunichi tax exemption, when the directive from the year before last was inquired about, this temple is an extremely large branch temple and moreover faces great difficulties with reconstruction. With special consideration, transit tax exemption is granted specifically to Sairyuji Temple. This is to be understood as outside standard law. Since this shall not serve as precedent for others, it should be understood accordingly, as has been instructed.
