五度新潟湊へ壱度出役相勤候
事
一 享《見せ消ち：保｜和》二戌年八月先達而
公義御役人米相場為吟味被相越候
節始終を貫勤労致し候ニ付壱石御
役料被下置候事
一 文化二丑年四月南御蔵入御取箇調
役人并小役人兼務被 仰付候
但右勤中江戸へ三度小千谷陣屋
詰二度岡【同ヵ】島陣屋詰四度新潟へ二
度出役仕候事
一 同年十二月小千谷陣屋詰合中諸
出入簡箇ニ取極且為見分
公義御役人被相越候節宜応対いたし
出精相勤候ニ付銀五両被下置候事
一 同五辰年閏六月元〆方調達金臨時
之御用向精出取計候由ニ付為御褒美
銀五両被下置候事
一 同八未年五月箱館御廻米之儀新規
之儀ニ候処宜取計臨時之御用節共精
現代語訳
五度新潟湊へ一度出役して相勤めた事
一 享和二年戌年八月、先達て幕府の役人が米相場の吟味のため来越した際、始終を通じて勤労したことにより、一石の御役料を下し置かれた事
一 文化二年丑年四月、南御蔵入御取箇調役人並びに小役人兼務を仰せ付けられた
ただし右勤務中、江戸へ三度、小千谷陣屋詰二度、岡島陣屋詰四度、新潟へ二度出役した事
一 同年十二月、小千谷陣屋詰合中の諸出入を簡潔に取り極め、且つ見分のため幕府役人が来越した節によく応対し、出精して相勤めたことにより、銀五両を下し置かれた事
一 同五年辰年閏六月、元締方調達金臨時の御用向きを精出して取り計らったことにより、御褒美として銀五両を下し置かれた事
一 同八年未年五月、箱館御廻米の件は新規の件であったが、よく取り計らい、臨時の御用の節々に精

1. In the 8th month, Kyōwa 2 (Dog year), when Bakufu officials had previously come to investigate rice market prices, he served diligently from beginning to end and was granted 1 koku as official duty allowance
1. In the 4th month, Bunka 2 (Ox year), appointed concurrently as official investigator and junior official for the Southern Imperial Domain survey
During this service: three trips to Edo, twice stationed at Ojiya camp, four times stationed at Okashima camp, twice assigned to Niigata
1. In the 12th month of the same year, efficiently resolved various disputes during his posting at Ojiya camp, and when Bakufu officials came for inspection, he responded well and served diligently, for which he was granted 5 ryō of silver
1. In the intercalary 6th month, 5th year of the same era (Dragon year), he diligently handled emergency financial procurement matters for the head office, and was rewarded with 5 ryō of silver
1. In the 5th month, 8th year of the same era (Sheep year), regarding the Hakodate rice transport, though this was a new matter, he handled it well and during emergency duties showed great diligence
