図或者御下り之立傘差出候をも
疎忽ニ為持之為賑御停止之物真似
致候をも夫迄ニ罷在 御崇敬之
御場所従先祖代々社司ニ被立置
候処一向 神慮之恐をも不顧不
慎之至且此度 御神器類改

候条社司被退半知被 召上小普

但右ニ付只今迄之屋敷被
召上候処家柄別段之訳を以新妻治
郎太夫上ヶ屋敷御哀憐を以被為貸

今迄之御貸屋敷指上若松へ退キ可

現代語訳
図を作り、或いは御下りの立傘を差し出すことをも軽率に持参し、賑わいのために御停止の物まねを行うことをもそのままにしており、御崇敬の御場所で先祖代々より社司に立て置かれていたところ、一向に神慮の恐れをも顧みず不慎の至り、且つこの度御神器類を改めの上、不埒・不締りの儀があり、共に不届きにつき、社司を退けられ半知を召し上げられ小普請に仰せ付けられた。
ただし右につき只今までの屋敷を召し上げられたところ、家柄別段の訳を以て新妻治郎太夫上ケ屋敷を御哀憐を以て貸し与えられた事
一 同年十一月、不慎の儀を聞し召され、仰せ付けられる様もあったが、御宥免され、只今までの御貸屋敷を指し上げ若松へ退き罷り在るべき旨を仰せ付けられた事
一 同九年子年四月、慎が御免になされ下された事
一 天明五年巳年十月、席社司を相勤めた

...creating diagrams, and even carelessly bringing ceremonial umbrellas for official processions, imitating prohibited activities for the sake of creating festivities, and leaving such matters as they were. At this sacred place of worship where his ancestors had been appointed as shrine priests for generations, he completely disregarded the fear of divine displeasure, showing the height of imprudence. Moreover, upon inspection of the sacred objects this time, there were instances of misconduct and negligence, and for all these transgressions, he was dismissed from his position as shrine priest, had half his stipend confiscated, and was assigned to minor construction duties.
However, although his current residence was confiscated for the above reasons, considering his family lineage's special circumstances, he was mercifully loaned the upper residence of Niitsuma Jirōdayū.
1. In the 11th month of the same year, although his imprudent conduct was brought to attention and there were considerations for further punishment, he was granted clemency and ordered to surrender his current borrowed residence and retire to Wakamatsu.
1. In the 9th year (1784), 4th month, his punishment period was completed and he was pardoned.
1. In Tenmei 5 (1785), 10th month, he served in the position of shrine priest.
