附三ノ寄合之次ニ被成下町奉行支
配被 仰付見祢山
御社勤之儀ハ重キ御神式之節
罷越候様尤社司代勤之儀も是
迄之通相心得弥以神道致出精
候様被 仰出候事
一 文化三寅年十月蔵人と改名仕度
旨被任願候事
一 同年十一月願之上神道為修行
自力を以江戸表へ罷登吉川家ニ而
修行仕重キ伝を得翌卯正月罷下
候事
一 同四卯年六月
恭定様見祢山御勧請之節願之
上御神事致修行奇特成儀ニ
思召候段被 仰出候事
一 同年十二月蝦夷地へ御人数被差
向候ニ付勝軍守護府大竹喜三郎
一同申合相渡候様被 仰付候

相違なく下し置かれ、無役を仰せ付けられ、席は御家老
附三ノ寄合の次に成し下され、町奉行支
配を仰せ付けられた。見祢山
御社勤めの儀は重要な御神式の節に
出向くよう、もっとも社司代勤めの儀もこれ
まで通り心得て、ますます神道に精進する
よう仰せ出された事
一 文化三寅年十月、蔵人と改名したい
旨を願い出て許可された事
一 同年十一月、願い出の上、神道修行のため
自力をもって江戸表へ上り、吉川家にて
修行し重要な伝授を得て、翌卯年正月に帰郷した
事
一 同四卯年六月、
恭定様が見祢山御勧請の節、願い出の
上、御神事の修行をしたことを奇特な
こととお思いになられ、その旨を仰せ出された事
一 同年十二月、蝦夷地へ御人数を派遣
されるにつき、勝軍守護府を大竹喜三郎と
一同申し合わせて相渡すよう仰せ付けられた

[The stipend] was granted without change, he was appointed to a position without specific duties, his seat was placed next to the third group of the senior councilor's attendants, and he was appointed under the jurisdiction of the town magistrate. Regarding service at Mineyama Shrine, he was to go there for important divine ceremonies, and as before, he was to understand his duties as deputy shrine priest and devote himself even more to Shinto studies, as was ordered.
1. In the 10th month of Bunka 3, year of the tiger, his request to change his name to Kurando was granted.
1. In the 11th month of the same year, upon request, he went up to Edo at his own expense for Shinto training, studied at the Yoshikawa family residence, obtained important secret teachings, and returned home in the 1st month of the following year of the hare.
1. In the 6th month of Bunka 4, year of the hare, when Lord Kyōtei made an offering at Mineyama, upon request, he practiced the divine ceremonies, which was considered admirable conduct, and this was officially proclaimed.
1. In the 12th month of the same year, when troops were dispatched to Ezo, he was ordered to hand over the victory and protection talismans in consultation with Ōtake Kisaburō and others.
