一 同年二月罷下候筈之処池上庄
左衛門病気ニ付詰越同六月罷下

現代語訳
一、同年二月に（江戸から）帰国する予定であったが、池上庄左衛門が病気のため詰越し、同年六月に帰国した。
一、同年八月 これまでの御擬作御知行を百五十石に御直しを下し置かれた。
ただし、この年から御登城なさる際の仮御刀番役を勤め、もっとも脇にお供や御使いをも勤めた。
一、寛文元丑年正月 勤番として江戸表へ上った。
一、同月 常上下を免じられ、「御部屋の人数が少ないので、御取次や御客様方の御送迎をも勤めるように」と仰せ付けられた。
一、同年七月 （江戸から）帰国した。
一、同二寅年正月 勤番として江戸表へ上り、同年五月に鳳翔院様が初めて御下向なさる際の御供を仕って帰国した。

英語訳
First year, second month: He was scheduled to return (from Edo), but because Ikegami Shōzaemon fell ill, he extended his duty and returned in the sixth month of the same year.
Same year, eighth month: His previous provisional stipend was changed to a direct grant of 150 koku.
From this year onward, he served as temporary sword-bearer when the lord went to the castle, and additionally served as attendant and messenger.
First year of Kanbun, year of the Ox, first month: He went up to Edo for duty rotation.
Same month: He was exempted from regular court dress, and was ordered to "serve as intermediary and to escort guests, as there are few people in the lord's quarters."
Same year, seventh month: He returned (from Edo).
Second year, year of the Tiger, first month: He went up to Edo for duty rotation, and in the fifth month of the same year, he served in the entourage when Lord Hōshōin made his first descent and returned with him.
