ただし右の御請書並びに宿継証文を江戸表へ派遣した。
中河内□郡奉行組の者を付き添わせた。
一、五月五日、右同様につき御礼のため御使者御番頭菅沼与一郎（次由）を江戸表へ派遣した。
ただし右の御使者の人選について、御奉書をお渡しの際、御用番大久保加賀守殿まで御留守居から伺ったところ、
吉品様からは御物頭
吉邦様からは御使番が適当である旨の御指図があったと江戸表から申してきたが、出発後になったため、そのまま派遣した。
一、与一郎は同月十七日に江戸に到着し、十八日に御返書を受け取った。
一、同日、伊藤玄寿の薬を御服用になったが、昨夜から御腹の具合が悪く、お疲れも見受けられるため、玄寿の薬を止めて、有賀玄哲（一閑）・岡部玄伯（忠活）が相談して御薬を差し上げた。

However, regarding the selection of this messenger, when the caretaker inquired with duty official Okubo Kaga-no-kami at the time of delivering the official letter:
From Lord Yoshishina, an ashigaru commander was recommended
From Lord Yoshikuni, a messenger was deemed appropriate
Although such instructions came from Edo, since it was after departure, he was sent as originally planned.
