前大納言殿現任之公卿両頭弁ゟ被 差上
候赤心之上書共御取揃ニ而備中守殿へ御
渡有之直ニ御暇之儀伺可申哉之旨被申候
所備中守殿今日被 仰出候儀篤と熟覧仕
度候間御暇之儀一両日御猶予被下度段被
申上御返答有之候趣候事
右三月廿三日認
廿三日ニ至未御暇之参内無之事
十七日 朝より快晴至極上天気九ツ時よりむ

前大納言殿および現任の公卿両頭弁から差し上げられた
赤心の上書をすべて取り揃えて備中守殿へお渡しこれあり、すぐにお暇の儀をお伺い申すべきかとの旨を申し候う
ところ、備中守殿は「今日仰せ出され候儀を篤と熟覧いたし
たく候間、お暇の儀一両日お猶予下されたく」との段を
申し上げ、御返答これあり候趣のこと
右三月二十三日に認む
二十三日に至るも未だお暇の参内これなきこと
十七日 朝より快晴、至極上天気、九ツ時よりむ

英語訳
Former Grand Counselor and the current court nobles, both chief secretaries, submitted
sincere memorials which were all collected and handed to Lord Bitchu-no-kami, whereupon he was asked if he should immediately request leave to depart
However, Lord Bitchu-no-kami said, "I would like to carefully examine what was proclaimed today,
so please grant me a delay of one or two days regarding my departure," and
received a reply to his request
The above was recorded on the 23rd day of the 3rd month
By the 23rd day, there was still no court attendance for his departure
17th day Clear from morning, extremely fine weather, scattered clouds from 9 o'clock
