現代語訳
三枚先まで水が押し上げ、八幡下山下根本常磐河岸辺一面に水が押し、中河内辺りより圷渡・飯富・岩根辺りは大水で、金沢坂下まで一面に海のごとく三丈余りの出水とのこと。家もかなり流されたとのことで、材木等数知れず流れた。赤沼曲尺手辺りまで水が押し上げたとのこと。八町目辺り赤沼辺りは船にて通行。流死人もかなりあったとのこと。

Water pushed up as far as three rice fields ahead. Water flooded the entire area around Hachiman-shita, Yamashita, Nemoto, and Tsuneba riverbank. From the Nakakawachi area through Akutsu-watari, Iitomi, and Iwane areas there was great flooding. From Kanazawa slope down it was like an ocean with flood waters over three jō high. Many houses were washed away, and countless pieces of lumber flowed downstream. Water is said to have pushed up to the Akanuma Kanejaku-te area. Around 8th district and Akanuma area, people travel by boat. There were reportedly quite a few drowning victims.
