今夕方又々はや参り候由ニ而
御城内御家中迄静ニ成ル何事か不知
一 諸向え
前中納言様御慎被
仰出候付御家中一統面々相慎可申万一騒々
敷儀も有之候而ハ決而不相済事ニ候条壮年
之子弟血気ニ任せ心得違致出訴候儀も有之
候而ハ
公辺え被為対不相済却而
前中納言様御為ニも以之外不宜候間壱人た
り共右様相達置候振も有之候處此度被 仰
出候付而ハ従来
公辺御懐をも不奉承知故君臣の情儀苦心の
余り如何様存詰動揺出府いたし候ものも可
有之哉ト深く御配慮被為在今井金右衛門事
御直ニ被 仰含御指下ニ相成候条已後之御
模様次第御沙汰之趣を以相達候迄ハ子弟等
ハ勿論支配々末々迄心得違無之様得ト申合

今夕方またまたはや（使者が）参り候とのことにて
御城内御家中まで静かになる。何事か知らず
一 諸向へ
前中納言様御慎みを
仰せ出され候につき、御家中一統面々相慎むべく申す。万一騒々
しき儀もこれあり候ては、決して相済まぬ事に候条、壮年
の子弟血気に任せ心得違い致し出訴候儀もこれあり
候ては
公辺へ対し奉り相済まず、かえって
前中納言様のおためにも、以の外よろしからず候間、一人た
りとも右様相達し置き候振りもこれあり候ところ、この度仰せ
出され候につきては、従来
公辺の御懐中をも承知し奉らず故、君臣の情義苦心の
余り、いかようにも存じ詰め動揺出府いたし候者も
これあるべきかと深く御配慮なされ在り、今井金右衛門の事
御直に仰せ含められ御指下になり候条、以後の御
模様次第御沙汰の趣きをもって相達し候まで、子弟等
はもちろん支配々末々まで心得違いなきよう、よく申し合わせ

This evening again a messenger came quickly, it is said
The castle interior and retainers have become quiet. What matter it is, we do not know.
One To all departments
The Former Middle Counselor has been ordered
to observe restraint, therefore all retainers without exception must exercise caution. Should there be any
tumultuous affairs, it would absolutely not be acceptable. Therefore, if young
retainers, carried away by youthful passion and acting with poor judgment, should make appeals,
it would be
unacceptable before the government authorities, and moreover
would be extremely disadvantageous for the Former Middle Counselor as well. Even if there were one person
who had been instructed in such manner, since this order has been
issued, having previously
not understood the government's intentions, out of loyalty between lord and retainer and from excessive concern,
there might be some who, thinking deeply and becoming agitated, might go up to Edo.
With deep consideration for this, Imai Kinemon has been
directly instructed and sent down. Until further
developments and official word are communicated according to circumstances, not only the young retainers
but also all subordinates down to the lowest ranks must take care not to act with poor judgment, and we should coordinate well
to maintain peace.
