四、五日以前より大貫浜より前浜辺までの間、鰹
大漁のことで、磯では一艘の船にて千二、三百本
ずつ取るとのこと。湊酢屋次右衛門手船では
十七日は三千本余り、十八日は二千本余りの漁で
残らず節に切るとのこと。昼夜寝ずに大騒ぎをして
いるとのこと。
湊一本につき水名九十五文、磯八十九文位。この
間中の漁で前浜より大貫までの間、金子に
積もりをすれば二万両余りの融通になるとのこと。
新宅清助昨日江戸より下ってきたので聞いたところ、
上りの節成田へ参詣、舟橋通りにて江戸参りをするとのこと。

For the past four or five days, there has been a great catch of bonito from Ōnuki Beach to Maehama area. At the rocky shores, each boat is catching 1,200 to 1,300 fish. Minato Suya Jirōemon's boats caught over 3,000 on the 17th and over 2,000 on the 18th, all being cut into dried bonito flakes. They are working day and night without sleep in great excitement.
In Minato, one fish sells for 95 mon, at the rocky shore about 89 mon. With this recent catch from Maehama to Ōnuki, the total amount comes to over 20,000 ryō in circulation.
Shintaku Seisuke came down from Edo yesterday, so I asked him about it. When going up, he will visit Narita shrine and go to Edo via Funahashi-dōri.
